Kaso slowly lifted the hem of his training clothes, pulling them up inch by inch. As the collar passed over his head, the weighted clothing was just about to come off.
Suddenly—
A strange heaviness descended upon the surroundings. The air atop the Lookout was already thin, but now it felt even more oppressive—so much so that even breathing became difficult.
"…"
Kami and Ausbi'er were stunned by the rising tension, both swallowing nervously.
The moment Kaso completely removed his weighted clothing, a sound like dried beans falling to the floor echoed from his body.
Crack, crack, crack!
The crushing weight that had suppressed him for so long was finally lifted. Every cell in his body seemed to be rejoicing. Kaso felt an uncontrollable urge to throw back his head and roar to the heavens.
The long-dormant power within him—like a slumbering Eastern Dragon—was fully awakened the moment the weighted gear fell to the ground.
Rumble—Rumble!
As Kaso began to release his power, the Lookout trembled faintly. In the sky above, violent currents of energy twisted the air. The once-oppressive atmosphere suddenly boiled over into a chaotic storm.
An overwhelming aura erupted from Kaso's body, bursting out in waves. A massive white flame of energy surrounded him, making him look like a young war god standing at the center of the Lookout.
"So powerful!"
Kami's white cloak was blown straight back. He nearly lost his balance under the sheer pressure.
"Kaso-nii is amazing!" Ausbi'er's wide, cat-like eyes sparkled as she stared at him.
Mr. Popo remained motionless, calm as ever, watching in silence.
And then—
"Hahaha!" Kaso burst out laughing, unable to contain his exhilaration.
He clenched his fists, and even the sky responded with a deep hum.
Even he was stunned by the surge of strength now coursing through his body. He could feel power bubbling up within him—more than double what he had a month ago.
Although he didn't have a scouter to measure it, he instinctively knew:
This was the true power of mastering "ki."
He glanced at the small energy sphere that had naturally formed in his hand.
"A month of ki training… So this is what it means to truly understand ki."
Just then—
"Kaso-nii, my turn!" Ausbi'er said cheerfully, stepping forward.
Hearing her, Kaso dispersed the energy ball in his hand and suppressed his aura.
His control over his power—smooth, precise, natural—was far beyond what any beginner should be capable of.
Kami's face twitched.
This kid really might be a monster.
Now that the raging energy had receded, peace returned to the Lookout.
Ausbi'er stood where Kaso had just been.
As she took off her weighted clothing—
"Haah!"
She let out a sharp cry.
The tranquil atmosphere once again erupted into chaos.
Violent gales swept across the Lookout. The green plants shook wildly, and leaves rustled in a frenzy.
A terrifying aura exploded from Ausbi'er.
BOOM!
A white flame of ki soared into the sky.
Seeing this, Kaso's eyes widened.
"She's… twice as strong as she was before?!"
A month ago, her power level had been decent at best. But now, her growth had exceeded all expectations.
"Ausbi'er's talent is remarkable," Kami murmured.
He then turned to look at Kaso and shook his head in awe. This boy didn't even need to be spoken of—his power had nearly blown Kami away earlier.
But even this girl—though slightly inferior to Kaso—was far beyond any prodigy Kami had ever seen.
Very soon, Ausbi'er's energy reached its peak.
Even Kaso was shocked.
"This must be… at least 6000 in power level!"
"No doubt about it—the weighted clothes worked wonders," he muttered to himself.
If weighted clothes had such effects, then what about the gravity chamber?
Thinking of this, Kaso felt pure joy.
He had already asked Dr. Brief to develop a gravity chamber for him. Once he brought that back to Planet Sadala, the expressions on the other Saiyans' faces would be priceless!
He couldn't wait to return.
Suddenly—
The swirling vortex of energy around Ausbi'er vanished. Calm returned to the Lookout.
"Kaso-nii, was I awesome?!" Ausbi'er ran over eagerly, her face full of hopeful excitement.
Well, looks like I have no choice but to praise her.
Kaso smiled helplessly and hugged her tightly.
"My Ausbi'er is the strongest of all!"
"Hehe!" Ausbi'er giggled, rubbing her cheek against his shoulder.
Kami chuckled aloud at the sight. He had nearly forgotten that these two terrifying prodigies… were still just children.
Kaso, carrying Ausbi'er, walked over to Kami and Mr. Popo.
It had been quite a while since they arrived on Earth. So far, he had only accomplished two things: arranging the gravity chamber with Dr. Brief and coming to the Lookout to learn ki control.
But that wasn't all. He still had something important to do.
"Thank you, Kami and Mr. Popo, for taking care of us this past month."
Kaso bowed deeply.
"Thank you too!" Ausbi'er echoed, sticking out her tongue playfully after speaking.
"You're leaving?" Kami asked.
Kaso gently ruffled Ausbi'er's hair. "Yeah."
"Then I wish you the best. Until we meet again."
Kami wasn't sure what else to say. A month ago, these two had suddenly appeared on Earth and nearly gave him a heart attack with their explosive ki. But now, after spending time with them, he realized they weren't evil at all—just a bit… innocent.
Still, now that they were leaving, who knew when he'd see them again?
"Goodbye!"
Kaso waved at Kami and Mr. Popo.
Ausbi'er mimicked him and waved, too.
Then—
BOOM!
With a flash of white ki, the two shot up into the air and disappeared below the Lookout.
As they vanished, Mr. Popo's eyes followed their trail, his gaze unreadable.
But no one noticed that.
Far above the Earth.
Two streaks of white light zipped through the sky.
On top of Korin Tower, the fat white cat known as Korin stood with narrowed eyes.
"Huh? What are they doing back here?"
He scratched his head, confused.
Shouldn't those two still be up on the Lookout learning about ki?
Wait… Could it be… they'd already finished?
Korin shook his head.
"No way. Nobody can master ki in a month."
Still, as the two kids flew closer, Korin felt less fear than he had during their first visit.
After all, Kami had told him — these two weren't evil.
Korin had found that hard to believe at first. The ferocity of their ki had made them seem more like demons than children.
But since it came from Kami, he had chosen to trust it.
