The heavy doors of the gravity chamber slowly opened.
Out walked a petite, sweat-drenched girl, her little tail swishing behind her. Despite her adorable appearance, the moment Ausbi'er stepped out, an intense, feral energy erupted from her body—like the ghost of a raging Great Ape looming behind her. The sheer force of her ki sent chills down one's spine.
No one would believe that just half a month ago, this girl was still a lazy, snack-loving little fluffball.
"Kaso-gege, where are we going?" she asked eagerly.
"You'll see soon enough," Kaso replied with a grin, still inwardly marveling at how effective the gravity chamber had been. With a flick, he turned the chamber back into a capsule and tucked it into his pocket.
Moments later, two streaks of white energy shot into the sky.
They soared above bustling cities and past rolling hills, finally descending upon a wide, uninhabited plain.
Ausbi'er tilted her head as she watched Kaso rummage through his little backpack and pull out seven glowing orbs. As he placed them together, the Dragon Balls began to hum with a soft, resonant buzz.
"How magical…" Ausbi'er whispered.
Kaso turned and smiled. "You remember how you said you wanted to see what Shenron looks like? Well—get ready."
He took a deep breath and bellowed:
"Come forth, Shenron!"
The moment the words left his mouth, the sky above them turned pitch black. Layer upon layer of dark clouds gathered overhead, suffocating and ominous.
CRACK!
A bolt of lightning split the heavens, followed by several more that slammed into the Dragon Balls. The rumbling shook the air like the wrath of gods.
Ausbi'er jumped. "Are the Dragon Balls… breaking?!"
But instead of shattering, the orbs grew brighter, their hum now becoming a deep, resonant vibration that made her ears tingle. And then—
FWOOSH!
A pillar of golden light burst into the sky, writhing and twisting like a serpent.
From it, the massive head of a dragon emerged, followed by a long, sinuous body. The colossal figure rose higher and higher into the swirling black sky.
"Kaso-gege! What is THAT?!" Ausbi'er clamped both hands over her mouth in awe.
"That… is Shenron."
She stared, stunned speechless. So this was the legendary dragon Kaso had spoken about—the one that could grant any wish!
Though in her heart, she'd always thought all dragons could grant three wishes, not realizing that Earth's Shenron was different.
Soon, the entire form of Shenron was visible—his serpent-like body twisting across the sky like a divine being painted in shadow and gold. Against the darkened heavens, the dragon's glowing red eyes shone like beacons.
"State your wish," Shenron's gravelly voice boomed.
"Any wish. I can grant it."
Ausbi'er could hardly contain her excitement, though inwardly… she thought Shenron looked kinda… ugly.
Kaso had no idea what she was thinking. If he did, he'd probably agree. Compared to the majestic, five-clawed dragons of his home world, this Shenron was indeed a little… underwhelming.
Kaso tossed a capsule. Poof! The gravity chamber popped into place.
Pointing to it, he declared loudly:
"Grant my wish—replicate two hundred of these gravity chambers on Planet Sadala!"
Ausbi'er's eyes lit up.
She had trained in the gravity chamber before and knew just how effective it was. If their entire Saiyan race could train under such conditions, their strength would skyrocket beyond imagination!
But… could Shenron really do it?
The skies fell silent.
Then Shenron spoke again:
"Your wish… is simple. It is granted."
Planet Sadala – Northern Region
Near the farmland where senzu beans were cultivated, 200 gravity chambers suddenly appeared out of nowhere, materializing in neat rows.
Passing Saiyans gawked in astonishment and immediately rushed off to report to Bardock.
Back on Earth, Shenron said in his deep voice:
"Farewell, mortals."
With that, he transformed into a beam of golden light. The Dragon Balls rose into the air, scattered in all directions like shooting stars.
Kaso's eyes narrowed. He leapt into the air at just the right moment and snatched two of the orbs—one from Gohan's place, and one from Bulma's home.
"Kaso-gege, it really worked!" Ausbi'er jumped with joy. "Two hundred gravity chambers! Now even the weakest Saiyan will become strong!"
She paused, puzzled. "But… aren't there supposed to be three wishes?"
Kaso laughed and began explaining the difference between Shenrons across various worlds. Earth's Shenron, he told her, was only capable of one wish due to the limited power of its creator.
Up in the Heavens
From the Lookout, Kami and Korin watched in silence as the sky returned to normal.
Although they had grown to trust the two alien children somewhat, the act of summoning Shenron still made them extremely nervous.
But thankfully, Kaso's wish had been nothing more than the replication of gravity chambers—not world domination or anything destructive.
Kami exchanged a glance with Korin, who gave a subtle nod.
"Perhaps you were right," Kami murmured.
Currently, Earth's martial arts community was weak and fragmented. Only Master Roshi and Master Shen could be considered elite, and even then… they were aging. At best, Gohan might be counted as one more.
If aliens ever did invade, Earth would be completely defenseless.
Something must be done. Martial arts on Earth must be revived.
Meanwhile, back on the ground…
Kaso had no idea Kami was observing him. But even if he did, he wouldn't care. He had no intention of harming Earth.
Now that all his goals here were complete, he wanted to see how far Ausbi'er had come under the gravity chamber's training.
"Alright, Ausbi'er. Show me what you've got after half a month of training!"
"Heehee~ Careful, Kaso-gege! I might punch you into the dirt~!"
"Talk big for someone so small," Kaso smirked.
Without another word, Ausbi'er erupted into white-hot energy.
Her tiny form shot into the sky like a cannonball.
BOOM!
The sonic boom shook the heavens.
Like a bolt of lightning, she shot forward, leaving only a blinding trail of energy behind her. In a blink, she was already in front of Kaso, raining down a furious storm of punches and kicks.
Every blow carried the force of a falling meteor. The wind pressure alone shredded the landscape—within a kilometer radius, not a single patch of ground remained untouched.
Thankfully, they had chosen an uninhabited area. Otherwise, the destruction would've caused massive casualties.
"Not bad at all…" Kaso muttered, blocking each strike with composed precision.
Her strength had increased drastically. Each impact reverberated through his bones.
Suddenly, Ausbi'er vanished.
Kaso narrowed his eyes. "That move again?"
He spun around—sure enough, she was behind him.
"Kaso-gege, how'd you know I'd be back here?"
Even as she asked, she didn't stop moving.
A massive energy blast had formed in her palm. Without hesitation, she slammed it downward toward Kaso's head.
At that moment, her Saiyan blood boiled with excitement.
She knew it wouldn't hurt him… but she couldn't resist the thrill.
The blast struck—
And passed right through him.
No explosion.
Just a ghost-like shimmer, as though he weren't even there.
