Kaso left the two to continue thinking it over.
In truth, there wasn't much to consider—either join the Saiyans or die. Those were the only two options.
Even ants cling to life, let alone an entire race. So it was inevitable that Philiya and Yuna would choose to be incorporated into the Saiyan race.
Kaso walked back to Bardock.
"You went soft just 'cause she's a pretty woman, didn't you?" Bardock said coldly.
"Bullshit!" Kaso shot back.
"Then what are you—?"
"You'll see soon enough."
Kaso reached out and pinched Ausbi'er's cheek, making her yelp and call him a bad big brother.
Bardock might have precognition, but even that ability couldn't see everything.
He couldn't possibly predict what the inclusion of a high-tech race would bring to the Saiyans.
Just as Yuna mentioned earlier—when Yamoshi brought the Lolita Tribe back into the Saiyan fold, their access to advanced technology helped the Saiyan forces expand rapidly, reaching an unprecedented peak.
Now? The Saiyans had nothing—not even the most basic scouters.
They couldn't sense ki, and in a fight, they were practically blind.
Before long, Philiya and Yuna walked over, while the other female guards remained where they were.
"I agree," Philiya said calmly.
She was the only daughter of the Lolita Tribe's aging leader and the most likely successor. She knew full well the current state of her people.
Truthfully, aside from their advanced research, the Lolita Tribe had little else. They lacked any cultivation talent, and couldn't even protect the very inventions they produced.
Their tech had to be handed over to powerful factions just to make it to market—and even then, the profits they received were minimal. Sometimes, they couldn't even cover costs.
So when Philiya heard what Kaso said earlier, although initially shocked, she quickly came to understand.
Perhaps joining the Saiyans again would bring a whole new chapter for her people.
Kaso wasn't surprised to see the two of them agree.
If they didn't, they'd be dead. Simple.
"Since you've chosen to align with the Saiyans," Kaso said calmly, "then answer this—have you already leaked information about the Saiyans?"
At first glance, Kaso seemed relaxed, but those familiar with him could already tell—something was off.
"When we were being chased by that mutt," Yuna stammered, "we did send a distress signal to our people… but that was before we landed on this planet!"
She lowered her gaze. "However… our ship does have a tracking beacon…"
Boom!
The skies suddenly trembled.
In an instant, the sheer pressure made it difficult for anyone to stay on their feet.
Bardock's pupils contracted, a storm raging in his heart.
This kid... terrifying!
Kaso clenched his fists, then slowly released them. His voice turned cold:
"Where is your homeworld located?"
"W-What?" Yuna was confused.
"Speak!" Kaso snapped, his voice thunderous.
He didn't have time to waste. If the Lolita Tribe's people broadcasted the Saiyans' whereabouts to the universe, everything he'd worked for would be for nothing.
His fury stunned both Philiya and Yuna into silence.
Philiya quickly pointed toward a direction in the north.
"Don't resist."
Kaso didn't bother explaining, grabbed Philiya's soft white hand, and activated Instant Transmission.
At this moment, the survival of a race took priority—beauty meant nothing.
Unless…
Watching Kaso vanish, Ausbi'er pouted, "Kaso-nii left again!"
Bardock: "..."
Near the Lolita Star.
A short distance from Planet Sadala.
The skies were light green, dotted with brownish clouds.
Sunlight broke through the cloud cover, casting grey highlights on the towering buildings. Combined with the metallic sheen of the special materials, the whole place oozed sci-fi atmosphere.
Inside a grand council hall, every golden-brown chair was occupied.
Most of the attendees were female, their appearances very similar to Philiya's—beautiful, yet their temperaments varied wildly.
At the head sat an elderly woman wielding a staff, flanked by two female guards. She spoke solemnly:
"I've just received word. Our princess has been attacked and forced to land on an unidentified planet!"
The words caused the hall to erupt.
Over 200 Lolita clanswomen all shouted at once.
"Who did it?!"
"It must've been the Sharberans!"
"Damn it! If we were still aligned with the Saiyans, who would dare treat us like this?!"
"That's right, Chief! We must fight back. We can't let anything happen to the princess!"
Back when the Lolita Tribe was hunted across the universe, it was the Saiyans who protected them.
Under their shelter, no one dared lift a finger against them.
"Silence!" Chief Ewenie barked.
"It wasn't the Sharberans. It was a group of space pirates," she explained. "But one of them had a power level of 5000."
That figure alone silenced the room instantly.
The tribe's strongest was Philiya, and even she only had 1500.
What were they supposed to do?
"I plan to request help from the Sharberans," Ewenie said heavily, her tone filled with helplessness.
The heavens had gifted them extraordinary intelligence, but had taken away their ability to cultivate.
It was why they always had to seek outside help when in trouble.
The moment she said it, a wave of protest echoed across the hall.
But just a few seconds later, it went silent again.
Their high intelligence allowed them to quickly understand the implications.
In this region, only the Sharberans—whose warriors could exceed 10,000 power level—could possibly rescue Philiya.
Resignation filled the chamber.
How they missed the days under Yamoshi's leadership...
Suddenly—whoosh!
Two figures appeared in the middle of the hall.
One tall, one short.
"It's Princess Philiya!"
"She's back!"
The entire hall erupted in joy.
They had been preparing to beg the Sharberans for help—only for Philiya to return herself!
Philiya gave everyone a graceful nod, then walked up to Chief Ewenie.
"I've returned, Chief," she said.
