Chapter 9 – The Flame of the New King

Location: Basement of Warehouse 47 – Former base of Gabino's mafia

Central character: Brenner Souka – the Pyromaniac

The torches on the walls illuminate the tense faces of Gabino's surviving henchmen, all afraid of the new leader who has stepped foot in the base... after defeating the old one.

The ashes of what was left of the last war were still in the air.

Screams of dead soldiers still seemed to echo off the walls.

Brenner Souka enters, slowly. The sound of his heavy boots resounds like a funeral drum.

His body still bears ashes and dried blood from the last battle.

He stops in front of the group, his jacket burned, his fists on fire…

SCENE 2 – DIALOGUE OF DOMINATION

— Gabino… was buried by his own arrogance.

— His empire… turned to ashes.

The henchmen look at each other, tense. One of them, Ferro, Gabino's right-hand man, steps forward:

— And why should we obey you, freak?!

Brenner Souka (slowly approaching):

— I only need those who are still breathing… and understand that fire doesn't negotiate.

(pauses, looks Ferro straight in the eyes)

(raises his hand, and a flame appears floating in it)

— I want to see the Zerk world... burn.

SCENE 3 – INTIMIDATION AND DOMINATION

The flame turns into a flaming spiral, spinning around Brenner.

Brenner Souka (looking at everyone):

— The world created monsters... but I am the consequence.

He releases a ball of fire on the ground, making his shadow grow and project itself on the walls like a creature from hell.

Soon, everyone kneels before Brenner Souka.

Brenner Souka (low voice, with fire around):

— And their new hell... begins with me.

(looks at the flames growing in his hand)

— Zerk will be purified. Not with justice. With pain.

— ...and wonder who was the idiot who allowed me to be born.
