Chapter 19: Twelve-Winged Angel Silhouette

The light of awakening faded, but Qian Renxue remained standing, her body trembling slightly.

Golden light enveloped her, coalescing into a radiant figure behind her back. But this time… it was not the familiar six-winged angel spirit that Spirit Hall had worshipped for generations.

The angel behind Qian Renxue had Twelve wings.

Twelve majestic wings spread behind her martial soul in an awe-inspiring arc, each feather gleaming with a brilliance beyond mortal comprehension. They shimmered not just with holy light, but with an indescribable aura, ancient and transcendent. A pressure descended in the chamber, silencing the very air, as if the world itself held its breath.

Qian Daoliu's eyes widened. Unlike his Martial Soul which was the manifestation of their Ancestor the Angel God with Six Wings, his granddaughter had awakened something different.

Behind Qian Renxue floated a silhouette of a being with twelve wings, whose face was obscured, cloaked in a divine blur that mortal eyes could not pierce. Only the barest outline of her martial soul could be sensed, and even that sent tremors into the hearts of those nearby. It was not just sacred, it was unknowable.

Qian Renxue blinked slowly. She didn't know what happened. One moment she had awakened her martial soul, the next... this. She could feel a presence still lingering within her, the mark of the Almighty and it had merged with her deeply, completely, irreversibly.

Her martial soul had evolved.

It was no longer the Seraphim of the Spirit Hall's inheritance. It was a new being.

A Twelve-Winged Angel, touched by the fragment of God Almighty.

Qian Renxue turned back to see her martial soul, it was blurry even to her. She willed her martial soul to show its true face then got struck with unknown murmurs again and went into a daze.

She recalled a piece of knowledge from Lord of the Mysteries , 'Mortals must not look at God'

Qian Renxue relied on her strong will to free her mind from the whispers.

Qian Daoliu felt that his Grand daughter's expression had turned solemn and awestruck. He stepped forward slowly eyes fixated on Qian Renxue herself. As the divine light gradually faded, her figure became clearer ,her appearance had changed subtly, yet undeniably.

Her hair, once a delicate golden blonde, had now turned into a cascading waterfall of platinum gold, glowing faintly under the light of the ceremonial chamber. Her eyes, once purple, now shimmered with an intense gold radiance, filled with both serenity and an unfathomable depth, like the starry cosmos compressed into twin orbs.

He was not surprised as he had seen many people acroos his long age to face some physical changes when awakening a martial soul.

Qian Daoliu's awe transformed into uncontainable joy. He stepped closer, resting a hand gently on her head.

"Good… very good!" he said, voice trembling with pride. "My granddaughter is a peerless genius… Our Qian family shall reach heights unseen in history!"

The Six winged martial soul is God level martial soul , then the twelve winged one shall be stronger mused Qian Daoliu.

He retrieved a crystal orb from his spatial ring—a soul power testing tool that Spirit Hall kept. Holding Qian Renxue's delicate hand, he placed it gently on the orb.

Then the crystal orb shone brilliantly, its light piercing through the ceremonial chamber with a blinding force.

Qian Daoliu gasped. "Level 20 innate soul power?!"

He laughed aloud, tears forming at the corners of his eyes due to happiness "Hahaha! Unprecedented! Our Renxue has the purest bloodline and the blessings of the heavens! The Seraphim bloodline has never seen such glory!"

But Qian Renxue wasn't smiling.

Instead, her face paled, and her body trembled faintly. The light in her eyes dimmed as she suddenly said in a soft voice, "Grandpa… I don't feel too well… I'm sorry."

Without waiting for his reply, she turned and ran from the chamber.

She did not stop running until she reached her room and slammed the door shut , while collapsing against it, chest heaving. She clutched her head.

Inside her spirit sea, the ice and fire seal, glowing faintly, as if nothing had happened. The seal still held firm, as not even air had disturbed it.

Floating nearby was a gray shadow, faint but distinct, Electrolux. He had awoken ,his eyes were narrowed, full of wariness, as he stared at the seal.

"To be able to bypass the seal without damaging it… That power didn't force its way through, it slipped in like a shadow through the cracks of reality itself." Electrolux's voice was grim, tinged with an old fear. "The seal only was able isolate the mad whispers....and now it feels like those maddening whispers can even bypass the seal"

He raised his hand slowly, a trace of necrotic light flickering in his fingers, but he didn't attack the seal. "All this time, the source was never imprisoned."

The ice and fire seal pulsed faintly, as if mocking them both with its calm stillness.

Moments later, Qian Renxue's consciousness descended into her spirit sea. Her platinum hair floated gently behind her as she stepped into the surreal realm.

She looked at Electrolux with a serious gaze. "You're awake."

He turned his eyes to her, their depth unreadable. "And you've grown, little girl."

Qian Renxue's expression did not change. She walked toward the seal, standing beside him, eyes locked on it. "It's been whispering to me in my dreams… for months. No logic, no language. Just truths I'm not meant to understand."

She paused.

"You know this power belongs to God Almighty, a being so terrifying one cannot comprehend. Mortals cannot even gaze at him."

She told as if she was pouring her grievance to him.

Electrolux remained silent for a few seconds not asking about Qian Renxue's source of information, then said, "Little Renxue, It's a power of a being so high above that even gods in this world would go mad from a single glance at it. Your martial soul was merely the vessel."

Qian Renxue clenched her fists.

Her voice was cold, steady. "Am I just a shell waiting to be devoured?"

Electrolux met her gaze. "Not yet. Not completely. It wants something, but not all at once. You're still you, Renxue, but you must tread carefully. The more you awaken your soul power, the more influence it might gain. You'll need to walk the edge of a sword… or fall."

Silence fell between them for a moment.
