CHAPTER 24: The Fan Moments and Idol Chaos
Xuanye ran over and sat beside Nian, quickly opening the video. Nian leaned in eagerly, eyes glued to the screen.
Vernon, Wonwoo, Jun, Woozi, and Joshua peeked over their shoulders. Curious, Jun tapped his members and pointed at the phone.
As their eyes landed on the video, Vernon's jaw dropped. Wonwoo reacted like a shy cat, while Joshua was kicking his legs in the air, laughing with Woozi blushing like a shy puppy.
Nian and Xuanye turned their heads slowly and saw all five of them leaning in like nosy neighbors. With a gasp, Xuanye hid her phone behind her back like she'd just been caught stealing.
Jun asked, "Are you watching that video…?"
Nian nodded proudly. "Yep! You guys are seriously funny!"
She burst into laughter.
Xuanye added, "Especially Dino, DK, Boo, Minghao, and Mingyu—so naughty!"
The members laughed shyly, already knowing which clips she was referring to.
Then Xuanye leaned in with a mischievous glint in her eyes. "Hey, it's a small dream of ours… would you do it?"
Nian blinked. "What are you talking about? Even I don't know."
Xuanye whispered the plan in her ear.
Nian's eyes lit up, and she smiled like a kid getting dessert. Together, they turned and fixed their gaze on Wonwoo.
Wonwoo blinked like a startled kitten. "Me?"
All the members turned to him.
Xuanye asked sweetly, "Wonwoo, can you sing a line from Our Dawn Is Hotter Than Day?"
Wonwoo was stunned. The rest of the members burst out laughing.
He shot them a glare and muttered, "Seriously?"
The girls nodded eagerly.
Clearing his throat shyly, Wonwoo sang a soft line from the song. His deep voice filled the room. Nian and Xuanye were glowing, and the boys were genuinely enjoying it.
As he sang, Xuanye elbowed Nian and whispered, "Record it!"
Nian quickly pulled out her phone and started recording with a grin.

Meanwhile, back at the practice studio, the rest of the members were exhausted.
Scoups, Jeonghan, Mingyu, DK, Boo, Dino, and Minghao lay sprawled on the floor like fallen warriors.
Hoshi glanced around. "Guys, don't sleep here!"
Boo tossed a towel at him. "Yah! Do we look like we're sleeping?!"
Hoshi grinned. Boo rolled his eyes, folded his arms, and flopped back down.
Jeonghan and Mingyu were sleeping on Scoups' shoulders. Scoups clapped and said, "Alright, let's stop for today. No practice tomorrow."
Mingyu half-sat up and clapped sleepily before falling back down again.
DK, Minghao, Dino, and Boo were hugging like a squishy sandwich, while Hoshi launched himself onto Dino like a clingy hamster.
"Hyung!" Dino yelped, toppling over.
Boo placed a hand on his chest. "Phew… I escaped."
DK and Minghao watched, giggling as Hoshi refused to let go.

Back at the dorm, the fun continued.
As soon as Wonwoo finished singing, everyone clapped.
He stood tall like a proud cat.
Then Nian's phone camera turned to Vernon.
Vernon gasped. "What? Me?!"
The boys all sat still, trying to blend in with the furniture.
"You guys are betraying me!" Vernon pointed dramatically as the rest looked away innocently, failing to hold in their laughs.
Xuanye chimed in, "Can you rap your LALALI verse?"
Vernon sighed in relief. "Oh, that's it?" He cleared his throat and performed it smoothly.
Nian and Xuanye held hands like excited schoolgirls, their eyes shining as he rapped.
Noticing them holding hands while watching him, Vernon raised a brow mid-verse.
When he finished, they all clapped, and he gave a satisfied nod.
As he sat back down, Nian called, "Vernon! Wait—can you laugh?"
The room went silent.
Vernon froze mid-sit, his eyes wide.
Then he slowly turned his head and flashed the widest, brightest smile.
The girls squealed and kicked their feet in excitement. Vernon took his seat with a chuckle.
Now it was Joshua's turn.
"Josh," Nian said with a smirk. "Can you say one of your acrostic poems?"
Joshua flinched. "Why only me? Make the others do it too!"
Xuanye shook her head. "No one does acrostic poems like you. We're huge fans."
Joshua looked proud for a moment, then faced Jun and dramatically declared,
"GR… Please give me a kiss!"
(with full gestures)
The members screamed.
Jun blinked like a shy cat while the girls were rolling in laughter.
Vernon muttered, "Hyung, you really haven't changed."
Joshua gave a sheepish smile.
Nian, catching her breath, turned to Jun. "Okay Jun, can you do your famous aegyo?"
Jun blushed but slowly raised his hands and performed his iconic aegyo.
Woozi's face went tomato-red. Vernon, Wonwoo, and Joshua cringed hard while trying not to fall off the couch.
Jun hid his face in embarrassment.
Finally, all eyes turned to Woozi.
He was already grinning through clenched teeth.
Xuanye smiled sweetly. "Woozi… show us a heart."
Relieved, he quickly formed a simple heart with his hands.
But Nian shook her head. "No, no. Not like that. Do it like your ending fairy pose!"
The room exploded.
The members fell on each other, laughing as Woozi's soul visibly left his body.
He slowly brought his hands up, face scrunched in hesitation, and finally pressed the heart to his cheek with a tiny smile.
Nian and Xuanye lost it and slapped each other's arms, squealing with delight.
