CHAPTER 55: “Results, Screams, and Dreams”

The next morning, sunlight filtered gently through the dorm windows. One by one, the members began to stir. DK flinched as he opened his eyes, groggy and confused.

"Did we… sleep here?" he mumbled.

The members glanced around the room. Scoups sat up and stretched. "I think so. We must've been too tired and just passed out."

Jeonghan rubbed his eyes, then looked at the neatly placed blankets and pillows. "The girls must've done this…"

They all paused, touched by the gesture.

DK ran a hand over the blanket. "They're really taking care of us like mothers."

Wonwoo sighed softly. "We're lucky to have them."

Meanwhile, in the girls' room, Nian and Xuanye were already wide awake — and nervous.

Today, their college was announcing the final exam results.

At exactly 7:00 a.m., the notification popped up: Results Released.

Xuanye handed her phone to Nian, trembling. "You check. I'm too scared."

Nian stared at her, equally terrified, but took the phone and opened the results page.

Seconds felt like hours.

When the page finally loaded, Nian gasped. Her eyes widened. "Ye! We passed! Not just passed — we scored high marks!"

She let out a scream and smacked Xuanye's leg in excitement.

Xuanye had her face buried in a pillow, but hearing Nian's scream, she jolted upright and screamed too — throwing the pillow into the air.

Back in the boys' room, their peaceful moment was shattered by the sound.

"What the—" Joshua blinked. "Why are they screaming like that?"

DK and Minghao jumped up in panic, followed by the rest of the members.

They barged into the girls' room — only to find Nian and Xuanye hugging each other, spinning in circles of pure joy. The pillow Xuanye had thrown earlier landed on Vernon, who caught it just in time.

DK looked at Nian, baffled. "Why are you shouting at seven in the morning?!"

The girls turned to them, raised their hands in triumph, and shouted in unison:

"WE PASSED OUR EXAMS!"

The boys burst into laughter.

Joshua chuckled. "It's just an exam. You made it sound like the world was ending."

In response, Nian picked up a pillow and smacked it into DK's face. The boys gasped.

Nian crossed her arms. "You don't get it. We were terrified the professor might fail us. We passed! This is our ocean moment!"

Xuanye nodded dramatically. "We survived Professor Xi!"

The members laughed again, then clapped and congratulated them.

Scoups smiled warmly. "So, what now? What's next for you two?"

Nian and Xuanye exchanged a look, then replied confidently, "We're aiming to become journalists. There's a dream company we want to get into — and today's the interview."

They clasped each other's hands with determination.

Scoups nodded in approval. "Then we wish you all the best. You'll crush it."

The girls smiled gratefully — hearts full, dreams unfolding, and surrounded by the best kind of support.
