They taught us to fear the dark.
But they never warned us about the ones who built it.
Ravenshade's Graveyard Room wasn't on any map.
It sat beneath the school's oldest chapel sealed by iron, masked by spells, buried in rumor.
They said it once held the bodies of founders who'd "gone too far."
We knew better.
It held secrets. Wires. Servers. Surveillance.
A system the Row used to watch everyone and everything.
And we were about to use it against them.
Isla and I arrived just after 1:00 a.m.
Cloaked. Hooded. Moving fast.
The tunnels beneath the chapel smelled of wet stone and forgotten promises.
We reached the vault door.
She entered the code.
1-9-8-7-4, not a date. A death toll.
The vault hissed open.
Rows of monitors flickered to life.
Red. Blue. Infrared.
Every classroom. Every dorm. Every mask.
The Row saw everything.
And now… we would make them seen.
We uploaded the files I'd stolen from Dr. Mercer's archive.
Ezra's falsified execution order,The Trial of Silence,The vote ledger with my name at the bottom,
Cam's selection, Keeper Vale's coded signature.
"It'll take ten seconds," Isla said. "Once I press send, it broadcasts through every student's school-issued tablet."
"And the faculty?"
"Most of them are watching already.
They're just pretending not to."
I took a breath.
"Do it."
She pressed the key.
And Ravenshade lit up.
The reaction was chaos.
Within seconds, alerts began to flash across the Row's internal comms.
Red protocol.
Kill code breach.
The system tried to auto-lock the broadcast.
But Isla had rerouted it through the school's public emergency alert server.
Unstoppable.
Students in their dorms watched the footage play.
Some screamed. Some stared. Some laughed in disbelief.
And then the yelling began.
Doors slamming. Alarms blaring.
A fracture in the Row.
Visible. Loud. Irreversible.
But not everyone was shocked.
The Keeper had known.
Because she was already waiting.
When we turned to leave, the door slammed shut behind us.
"That was bold," said a voice.
Keeper Vale. In a cloak made of shadow.
Behind her, four other Row members.
Armed.
"And stupid."
They charged.
Isla pulled a blade from her boot. I grabbed the metal rod from the console.
We didn't fight to win.
We fought to stall.
Long enough to press the final key on the board.
"Back-up Send to: Admin Account - RAVEN-ECHO."
A final fail-safe.
A final message.
To someone else.
Blood. Screams. Metal clanging against bone.
Then..
A high-pitched whine.
All five monitors exploded in a chain.
We ducked.
Glass rained like snow.
And when I looked up…
Ezra was there.
Not a hallucination.
Not a trick.
"Get up," he growled. "Now."
"You're supposed to be dead.."
"I got better."
He yanked Isla and me to our feet.
"They're going to erase everything. We have five minutes to get to the roof."
"The roof?"
"Broadcast tower. If the file hits that, it hits the world."
We ran.
Footsteps echoing behind us.
Sirens. Screams.
The Row unraveling from the inside.
By the time we reached the tower's base, Ezra was bleeding from a wound to the ribs.
Isla's arm was broken.
I had glass in my shoulder.
But the drive was still in my hand.
Still glowing.
Still alive.
At the top, I shoved it into the tower's core.
The lights turned blue.
A single beep.
Upload Complete.
Below, Ravenshade began to burn.
And above, for the first time…
The world saw everything.
