Chapter 34: The Iron Fist That Knows No Reason

"As expected of the Navy's strongest force. Damn, he's ridiculously powerful. The gap between us is just too wide!" Rosinante chuckled as he spoke.

Watching Jack and the others repeatedly sent flying by Garp's punches, Rosinante actually broke into laughter.

Earlier, he had thought that even against a Yonko like Big Mom, their combined strength was enough to put up a fight.

But Garp's overwhelming display shattered that naive delusion. Thinking back, he couldn't help but feel he'd been quite foolish.

Faced with Garp, these so-called New World powerhouses were nothing more than children. Apart from Raelmann and Katakuri, no one else could even withstand a single one of Garp's iron fists.

Even Jack—who would one day have a bounty of over a billion—was still too green. Against Garp, he crumbled instantly.

Garp's power was insane. But thinking about it, Big Mom's strength probably wasn't much lower. Forget her Devil Fruit powers—even just her terrifying brute strength, like wiping out a village of giants at the age of five, probably wasn't far behind Garp's hand-to-hand dominance.

Rosinante felt lucky that the first top-tier powerhouse he faced was Garp.

Compared to Whitebeard or Charlotte Linlin, Garp, while terrifying, was still purely a physical combatant. His attacks were devastating, but they lacked the large-scale destructive force.

If they'd been up against Big Mom, it wouldn't even take her personally stepping in. Just Zeus, Prometheus, and Napoleon beside her would've been enough to school them all.

And Whitebeard? Just one Quake-Quake Fruit shockwave from him, and most of them would've been out cold before the fight even began. What ambush?

This wasn't the aging, weakening Whitebeard from later years—this was the man still known as the one who could destroy the world. If Akainu took a full-powered shockwave from this Whitebeard, let's see if he'd still be standing.

Thanks to this encounter with Garp, Rosinante finally had a clear grasp of just how massive the gap was between them and the top of the world.

"Your Majesty, this is no time to be admiring the enemy! If we don't figure something out, we're all going to get buried here!" Bartley shouted, having just been blasted nearby. His face was pale—he never imagined raw physical strength could be this terrifying.

"Haha, buried or not, you guys better be ready for some recovery time," Rosinante laughed as he spoke.

While speaking, he placed his hand on Bartley.

"Body Limit Release: Silence!" Rosinante shouted.

A powerful Devil Fruit energy surged from him into Bartley's body, and Bartley's aura grew dramatically stronger in an instant.

"Go. Time to witness what a true top-tier powerhouse looks like," Rosinante said.

"Awooo!" Bartley transformed into his beast form, and without any visible movement, he launched forward like a hurricane toward Garp.

Whoosh! His razor-sharp claws slashed straight at Garp's heart with lightning speed.

Garp was caught slightly off guard by the sudden acceleration, but he reacted quickly, catching Bartley's clawed hand with one hand and throwing a punch with the other.

Bartley also countered with a powerful kick at the same time—his leg clashed against Garp's iron fist.

A shockwave burst out from the collision.

Bang! Bartley was ultimately punched flying again by Garp.

However, Garp's brows furrowed slightly—he could sense that Bartley's strength had increased severalfold in a very short time.

"What the hell, Bartley—did you take steroids or something?!" Burs and the others were all stunned by Bartley's sudden burst of power.

"Body Limit Release: Silence." Rosinante appeared behind Jack without a sound, placing his hand on his back.

"What is this? My power—how did it increase so much?!" Jack exclaimed, completely shocked.

"Looks like unlocking the body's restraints works especially well on Zoan-type users," Rosinante said, sensing Jack's surging aura.

"Haha! This power is insane! Come on, Garp, round two!" Jack roared and once again charged madly at Garp.

"Bins, leave Winter and the other two. Take the rest and retreat," Rosinante ordered calmly.

He had made up his mind—it was time to withdraw from the New World. After seeing Garp's strength firsthand, Rosinante knew the New World was still too far out of their league.

"Understood," Bins replied.

As he spoke, he opened a wormhole and prepared to escape.

"Don't think you're leaving! Stay right where you are!" Garp roared, punching forward with such force that the very air warped around his fist.

"Haha! Garp, your opponent is us!" Jack shouted, swinging his scythe at Garp's incoming punch.

BOOM! Jack's scythe clashed with Garp's fist, but was completely overpowered. Jack himself was blasted away, smashing into a stone wall over a hundred meters away. The wall crumbled instantly, and he continued crashing through building after building before finally stopping.

But in that fleeting moment Jack bought them, Bins successfully escaped using his Devil Fruit ability, heading off to extract the rest of the Oathblood Guards who were still clashing with the Navy.

"Body Limit Release: Silence." Rosinante appeared beside Raelmann and Katakuri, pressing his hands against them. Instantly, he activated the technique on both.

The two of them showed looks of astonishment, then charged at Garp like a pair of roaring storms.

At this point, even Garp's expression turned serious. His fists thundered forward, tearing through Raelmann's explosions and smashing apart the sticky mochi attacks from Katakuri.

Garp's power was the kind that defied logic—a brute force that crushed all techniques.

Especially when he went all out, it didn't matter what kind of power came at him—he would just punch through it. No exceptions.

Rosinante, meanwhile, had already finished boosting Winter and the others. They now joined in the assault on Garp.

"Crushing Fist Barrage!" Rosinante entered a state of complete silence, appearing beside Garp like a ghost and unleashing a sudden punch.

Bang! Garp, sensing Rosinante's approach with pure instinct, countered with a punch of his own. Their fists collided, generating a titanic gust of wind that rattled the very air.

This time, Rosinante wasn't blown away—but the sheer force still forced him to skid backward uncontrollably.

At that moment, the others launched their attacks together.

"Haha! I haven't had a fight this good in ages! Meteor Fist Barrage!" Garp roared as his fists shot out like meteors.

Each punch produced a massive air-pressure shockwave in the shape of a fist. Wherever those fists flew, the earth shattered, stones exploded, and the very air cracked and twisted.

"What the hell, is this guy serious?!" Rosinante stared in disbelief.

He had just been thinking how lucky they were that Garp didn't have a Devil Fruit and thus no large-scale attack power. But what was this?! Meteor Fist Barrage—wasn't this the same move Garp used to throw cannonballs in the original timeline? Compared to this, the manga version was practically child's play.

"Everyone, go all out or we're going to die here!" Rosinante roared.

"Crushing Fist Barrage! Crushing Fist Barrage!" As he shouted, he completely disregarded the damage to his own body, swinging his fists again and again. Though the speed wasn't blinding, every punch was packed with full-force destructive might.

"Divine Burst: Three Thousand Blows!"

"Blood Sword Slash!"

"Mammoth's Might!"

"Slash—Split Mochi!"

"..."

At that moment, everyone unleashed their ultimate attacks, desperately trying to offset Garp's overwhelming power.

The resulting shockwaves ripped apart the entire space. The harbor was devastated by the force of their clash. The land heaved, the sea churned, and the newly rebuilt city walls were reduced to rubble once again.
