Right behind him was Cehn, sliding through shadows like water, two daggers in hand. They moved without hesitation, decimating reflections with their respective arts.

Kael managed to shout through the noise. "Why are you here?!"

Somewhere, the Spire's pulse echoed through the realms. A vampire priestess stirred in her tomb of whispers. A dragonkin elder traced scars into the ice. A creature with no face wept in the dark.

Thirteen Sightbearers. One had awakened a second seal.

Later that night, within Kael's internal realm, the system manifested not as text but as a humanoid figure of light, faceless and calm.

"Are you... sentient now?" Kael asked.
