VOİD

Police sirens echoed through the quiet streets. The area around the Central Bank was surrounded by security forces following a threat alert. They expected chaos when they entered, but... they were met with an empty hall. Everything was just as it had been. Strangely, nothing had been touched.

A few streets away, a sentence scrawled in spray paint on the rotting wall of an abandoned building caught their attention:

**"Kozuki isn't in one place. He's everywhere."**

---

Kozuki suddenly teleported to the bar. The smell of old whiskey and damp wood still lingered in the air. Haruki was holding his half-finished drink and almost dropped it.

"What the hell is going on?" he said, his eyes wide open.

Kozuki slammed a 5-kilogram gold bar onto the table.

"When are we getting back together?" he asked with a grin.

Then he placed two more gold bars on the counter.

"By the way... this place is mine now."

A few days later...

Kozuki was lying on a bench on a wide, green hill overlooking the city. The cool breeze from the sea ruffled his shirt. The houses below looked like toys. The sky was clear. An endless peace reigned. There was a temporary calm on Kozuki's face.

Suddenly, he opened his eyes. Reflexively, he took his phone out of his pocket. The person he was looking for was

**Miyamoto.**

A moment later, a car appeared in the distance. It stopped, the door opened, and Miyamoto raised his hands in the air and shouted joyfully:

"Hey!"

At that moment, Kozuki passed through Miyamoto and appeared behind him. Miyamoto felt a chill run through his body.

"Damn, that's great," he shouted in surprise.

Kozuki extended his hand.

"Welcome back, brother."

They sat down on the bench together.

"How's life?" asked Miyamoto.

Kozuki muttered without taking his eyes off the view:

"Life?"

Miyamoto was taken aback.

"Sorry... it just came out."

"When did you first start using this power? I mean... this power... what's it called?"

Kozuki replied without turning his head:

"Eden."

"How did you learn to use it?"

Kozuki's gaze hardened. He suddenly stood up and hit Miyamoto on the head with the back of his elbow. Miyamoto collapsed to the ground with a scream.

---

When Miyamoto opened his eyes, he felt like he was drowning. Everything was dark. It was hard to breathe. His back was covered in sweat. He started pounding on the walls.

"Kozuki! Damn it, get me out of here!"

Kozuki's voice echoed:

"Can you feel yourself, Miyamoto? Where in your body is your breath stuck? Relax that spot."

"Damn it! How could I have believed you?! Get me out of here!" Miyamoto shouted.

This time, Kozuki's voice was angry:

"While people like you are alive... children are dying! If you hadn't been driving that day... maybe we'd still be having breakfast!"

At that moment, Miyamoto couldn't hold back his tears. He stopped shouting as he pounded the wall with his fists. He couldn't breathe. Just as despair was overwhelming him, the door was kicked open.

Kozuki was there. He appeared as a silhouette. He had a frightening grin on his face.

"Good... Your anger is useful. Now come and smash it in my face."

Miyamoto threw his shoulder against the door in anger. He broke the door and went outside. But when he looked back... the door was still closed. It was as if it had never been opened.

"Damn it," he laughed

Kozuki smiled, crossed his arms, and shook his head.

"If you're alone long enough... you'll learn."

---

When night fell, they were back on the same hill.

Miyamoto took a sip and looked at the bottle.

"You've really turned into a piece of shit, Kozuki. How long have you had this power?"

"I've never felt this powerful in my life. It's terrifying, but... perfect."

He nudged Kozuki with his elbow. Kozuki silently looked at his glass. He didn't say anything. His eyes were blank. Miyamoto leaned forward slightly. A memory flashed: seven people at a picnic. Yurika, Yamato, Kozuki, Miyamoto, and three unrecognizable silhouettes.

"Brother... I'm so sorry about that. I wish I had been there to save them."

Kozuki suddenly turned around. His gaze was sharp. He said harshly to Miyamoto:

"Shut up."

He threw his glass on the floor.

"Let's go see Haruki."

---

They teleported to the bar.

The bar had an '80s vibe. Music was blaring.

Haruki was sitting in the corner of the bar. He had his long blond hair tied back and looked up with an energetic expression.

"Is Miyamoto here too?"

Miyamoto held out his hand.

"Come on, you're getting old, Haruki."

Haruki shrugged his shoulders nervously, looking at Kozuki.

"We don't know what the hell is going on. Stop using that."

Kozuki suddenly disappeared, then reappeared. He was holding a golden Buddha statue in his hand.

Smiling, he said, "Nothing will happen. This is God's blessing to us. Take this, it's your share."

At that moment, a short Asian woman with brown hair and sharp eyes walked toward us. She put her arms around Kozuki and Miyamoto's shoulders.

She smiled excitedly as if she recognized them. "Miyamoto, Kozuki... I want some too!"

The two pushed the woman's arms off their shoulders.

Kozuki turned to Haruki:

"Haruki... don't let people like that in here again. Especially these weirdos."

The woman became angry

"Who are you calling weirdos?!"

The woman looked at Haruki angrily

"I'll give you double what they gave you. Get them out of here."

Kozuki looked expressionless. Then the questions began.

"Who are you?" — Kozuki

"How do you know others can use it?" — Haruki

"How old is your mother?" — Miyamoto

Everyone turned to Miyamoto at once.

"What's wrong? My tastes have changed. Besides, she's pretty. I can't even think about her mother."

The woman laughed:

"Calm down. I'm Irva. I used to be a soldier. I got bored, so I quit. The pay was crap anyway. Now I give ice cream to kids. The pay is low, but I love it."

For a moment, his face fell.

"Actually, I didn't quit because I got bored.

All three:

"You can't keep a secret."

Irva continued, "I saw things I shouldn't have seen. I experienced things I shouldn't have experienced."

Irva looked into the distance and said

"I was high-ranking. But I want to give this corrupt state what it deserves."

At that moment, Kozuki's eyes widened. He remembered the explosion. Suddenly, it dawned on Irva

"Now you can use this too. Just feel it."

Haruki gave him an angry look. Kozuki smiled.

"Learn this disease... and let's write our names in history."

Miyamoto raised his voice, "We don't even know who you really are!"

Irva said seriously, his eyebrows furrowed

"I've seen things you wouldn't want to hear. I gave up the job I'd dedicated my life to. Because I don't believe in anything anymore."

Kozuki smiled. He turned to Miyamoto:

"As far as I know... you don't have a life anymore either. What do we have to lose?"
