Heavy rain poured down, soaking the ground. The sky was gray, and lightning flashed high above. The rumbling was like a never-ending drumbeat of war. Amidst the suffocating rain, hundreds of people fought for a single ball. No one truly knew who held the ball. Therefore, people fought each other, regardless of their opponents.
Among all these people, three young figures were forced into the deadly fight despite their unwillingness. They fought separately due to circumstances.
Aslan and Firman were not far apart. However, Alya was far apart due to her negligence.
"I told you we don't want that recording!" Firman shouted loudly, standing tall before a masked man covered in a pitch-black cloak.
The masked man gripped his spear tighter. The red eyes behind his mask gleamed sharply. "No one is foolish enough to believe that. It's a recording of the Legend! No one would pass up this opportunity, even if it meant risking their lives. The same goes for me and everyone else here. If anyone was going to leave, they likely already did!"
With a wild shout, the masked man dashed toward Firman, his spear dancing like lightning in a storm.
Firman swung his sword to parry the man's attack. Spear and sword collided, producing a burst of light and warm steam.
Meanwhile, Aslan was fighting on the other side. His opponent was a giant man nearly two meters tall, armed with a massive spiked club whose blows shook the ground. But the man's movements were slow, rough, and easy to read.
"As long as I keep my distance…" Aslan muttered. Calmly, he activated his flying sword technique. Three blue blades of light streaked through the air, circling the man's body, grazing his flesh and forcing his opponent to scream in pain. The rain made the ground slippery, but Aslan danced across it, moving as nimbly as the wind.
But Alya suffered the worst.
She was cornered among the rubble and undergrowth. Five men surrounded her with disgusting smiles.
"I don't have the recording orb," Alya said.
One of them chuckled. "Hehehehe, I don't care. Even if you don't have the orb, we won't just leave. Although your clothes are quite loose, I can see that your body is quite sexy, and your voice is quite cute. I'm sure you're a beautiful young woman even with your mask. Their fight will be long, so why don't we have some fun?"
Alya tried her best to fight. She slashed the nearest man in the stomach, causing him to fall with a grunt. But there were too many of them, and their coordination was quite good.
One of the men grabbed her arm and pulled roughly, while another kicked her dagger away.
"Let me go!" Alya screamed, struggling with all her might. But their grip was strong.
"Oh, you're so fierce," said the first man, still mockingly. "That's what makes it all the more fun."
In an instant, one of them grabbed her from behind, locking her movements. Alya tried to bite, kick, swing her head—anything to get free—but to no avail. Her hands were held tightly, her body held down roughly. Her face was grimacing, covered in sweat and rain. Their breath was disgusting.
Alya screamed.
"FIRMAAAAN!!"
The scream echoed over the sound of the rain and the clatter of weapons. However, Alya's scream reached Firman, who was locked in a fierce battle. As the sound shook his consciousness, Firman was instantly distracted. His chest felt like it had been struck by a hammer. He knew that sound.
Alya.
Instantly losing focus, Firman had no time to dodge. The enemy's spear pierced his side. Blood gushed out, mixing with the rainwater. His body staggered.
The masked man grinned behind his mask. "I don't know what made you lose focus, but it certainly made my victory clear," he said, trying to pull his spear out. However, he couldn't pull it out because Firman held it tightly. "What are you doing?"
Firman didn't answer. He lifted his head to look at the man, and suddenly his body was thrown dozens of meters back like a rag doll hit by a storm. He slammed into a tree and couldn't move.
Firman gripped the shaft of the spear still impaled on his body. With one movement, he slowly pulled it out. The pain was excruciating, but his expression didn't change a bit. His eyes were as dull and empty as ever.
Firman stood trembling, his face wet with rain. His body trembled with anger.
He lifted the spear that had injured him earlier and threw it with all his might at the man pulling Alya's clothes. With all the strength his body could muster, and boosted by his telekinesis, the spear flew powerfully.
Back to Alya as she screamed.
"Firman!" Alya screamed as loud as she could, but was hit in the face by the man in front of her. The blow was so strong that Alya nearly lost consciousness.
"Hahahaha, it's no use screaming. No one will help you," the man said, ripping her clothes open, revealing Alya's breasts. "Hehehehe, this is even better than I imagined," the man said, then sucked on Alya's breasts.
"Please stop," Alya whispered. But no one listened. Another man approached her. "Don't have fun alone, I want to try too," he said, sucking on Alya's other breast. The men also approached, wanting to join in on the harassment.
Suddenly, a spear shot out and struck the two men harassing Alya. Their heads were crushed, and they died instantly.
Those present were shocked and looked in the direction the spear had come from.
Firman's figure ran quickly. In the pouring rain, he looked like the silhouette of death itself.
"Who are you?" shouted the man holding Alya's body.
Firman raised his hand. In an instant, his telekinetic power struck the man, shattering his bones and sending him crashing to the ground like a worthless corpse. He died quickly.
Alya fell to her knees, her body trembling. Fortunately, something like this wouldn't stress her out. Her breathing was labored, her hands dirty with mud and blood.
"Attack him!" shouted the voice, and Firman was attacked by those present.
Meanwhile, Aslan arrived, seeing Firman suddenly running fast. When he arrived, he saw Firman fighting with many people.
Firman fought brutally. He ignored his injuries and focused solely on attacking.
Then he was distracted by Alya. Aslan immediately searched his pockets and found a cloak. He put it on her and led her away.
