Ning Wei was Unhappy

Feng An Yu knew that he should tell his assistant to drive away. However, the words he wanted to say seemed to be stuck in his throat.

The frown on his face deepened as he watched Ning Wei's figure getting further away.

He did not like this feeling of Ning Wei leaving in anger.

Today, he came over to thank this young man for his help.

If Ning Wei had not helped him that night, he would be in deep trouble. His cousins would not miss the chance to push him further down.

But instead of thanking him properly, he ended up angering that young man.

Feng An Yu still did not know how he ended up upsetting Ning Wei.

"Mr. Feng?" Assistant Xiao called, noticing that his boss had been quiet for too long.

Feng An Yu snapped out of his thoughts. Before his assistant could say another word, Feng An Yu pushed the door open and stepped out to chase after Ning Wei.

He could no longer see the young man's figure, but Feng An Yu remembered the address that Ning Wei had given his assistant.

After walking for a couple of blocks, Feng An Yu finally found the workshop where Ning Wei was going. However, he could not see the young man's figure.

The smell of oil filled his nose.

It was only when he walked further into the workshop that he heard Ning Wei's voice talking with someone.

Feng An Yu was about to look for Ning Wei when a man in a black shirt stopped him.

"Sir?" The man called. "Can I help you?"

Feng An Yu frowned. "I'm looking for my friend. A young man." He raised a hand up to his shoulder level. "Around this height."

"Mr. Ning?"

Feng An Yu heaved a breath of relief when the man spoke Ning Wei's name. Honestly, he did not know how to describe Ning Wei's appearance.

He always thought that Ning Wei was a sunny boy based on the photos he found online. But Feng An Yu recalled the angry look on Ning Wei's face as he was leaving the car.

The man in the black shirt pointed at the back. "He should be in the boss's office." He gave Feng An Yu a look over before leaving to fix one of the motorcycles in the workshop.

Feng An Yu looked in the direction that the man had pointed to earlier. After a brief hesitation, he walked over, wanting to look for that young man.

"You cannot do this to me," Ning Wei's voice was heard as Feng An Yu came closer. "You told me that you would fix it. But now that the engine is making a weird sound again, you're telling me that I need to pay more?"

"Then, how am I supposed to get a spare part if you don't give me some money?"

"I gave you plenty last time," Ning Wei said. "That was a few thousand! It should be enough, right?"

"That was for the last time," the boss said. "It was to fix another problem."

Ning Wei looked at the boss in disbelief. " Boss, are you trying to scam my money?"

There was a long silence.

"If you don't think that way, why don't you take your bike somewhere else?" The boss let out a scoff. " I'm sorry. I can't fix yours."

"Hey, boss!"

Feng An Yu stood at the side as the middle-aged man walked past him.

"You can't do this," Ning Wei shouted as he followed the boss out of the office. "I sent my bike here last time. There should be a warranty or something."

The boss did not look back. He walked off, leaving a frustrated Ning Wei behind.

Ning Wei stared at the boss's figure until he was further away. Her brow furrowed deeply as she thought of the bike that won't get fixed.

"Are you alright?" Feng An Yu spoke after watching Ning Wei for some time. It might be his imagination, but Feng An Yu thought that Ning Wei looked as if he was going to cry.

Ning Wei looked up upon hearing his voice. The frown on her face deepened when she saw a familiar face. "Why are you here?" She adjusted the mask covering half of her face.

"To apologize," Feng An Yu said. "I think I must have said something that upset you."

Ning Wei pursed her lips before finally looking away. "Apology accepted." She walked away, seemingly too lazy to interact with Feng An Yu.

Her reaction made Feng An Yu wonder if he had said something wrong again. He watched Ning Wei stop next to a black motorbike and followed.

Judging from Ning Wei's reaction and the conversation he had heard earlier, Feng An Yu guessed that Ning Wei had a problem with her motorbike.

He wondered if this was the reason Ning Wei was in such a bad mood.

"What's wrong?"

Ning Wei looked unhappy.

She expected Feng An Yu to leave after he apologized. Why was he still around?

Was this man determined to make her day worse?

"What do you want?" Ning Wei asked with a sigh. She was too tired and lazy to talk to anyone else. She was not in a good mood and worried that she would lash out at Feng An Yu again over anything that he said.

Feng An Yu glanced at the motorbike.

He decided to ignore Ning Wei's bad mood for now.

He was still young. It was normal for someone like him to be a bit temperamental, right?

"Something wrong with your bike?" Feng An Yu asked.

Ning Wei's eyes softened as she looked at her bike again. "Yeah. The boss said something was wrong with the engine. He fixed it a few days ago, and the problem came back again. This time, he said that the problem was more serious than he first thought."

Her eyes narrowed slightly as Ning Wei recalled how the boss had been asking for some amount of money.

That amount was something that she could afford. But Ning Wei did not like the idea of giving out her hard-earned money just like that. It felt as if the boss was trying to bully her just because she liked her old bike.

"Then, why don't you send your bike to another workshop?"

Ning Wei chuckled. "This is an old model. There are not a lot of workshops that are willing to repair this model."

Feng An Yu did not know anything about motorbikes. But he felt that someone else might know something.

With that thought in mind, he took out his phone and dialled Su Ming Yuan's number.
