And so began the extinction of mankind.



It was not by fire or flood, but by ambition—an ambition born within the shadows of the Umbra Syndicate, a secretive organisation that defied nature’s laws. In their cold, clinical pursuit of power, they conducted unholy experiments upon a mysterious celestial race—the sky people—splicing their DNA into carefully chosen human subjects.



Thus emerged the Sora Project.



What was meant to be humanity’s evolution became its undoing. 98.9% of mankind was irreversibly altered. The experiment failed. The result: multi-cellular, aggressive mutations now known as Sky Demons—creatures neither man nor god, bred from human arrogance and the wrath of God and alien.



And so, another initiative was born in the silence of ash and ruin.



From the heart of artificial genius, one of the greatest AIs ever conceived initiated a plan to reverse the apocalypse. From circuits and code, it birthed salvation in the shape of a being unlike any other.



Her name was EVE, and her journey would be the final hope for a dying world once called home.
