Chapter 150: Dare To Grab Mine?!

The months of June and July were again the mature peak season of apricots.

A large apricot tree was planted in the yard on Wu's family grounds. By the end of June, the fragrant white apricots that were full on trees could bend the branches. Wu likes to eat apricots most of all. He goes to the apricot tree and sat down to eat. He can eat twice than a normal man and eat a pound of it.

This year, the company's affairs were busy. Wu did not have the spare time to stand under the apricot tree and eat apricots. After returning home, he took the apricots, picked them up and filled his bags. The two big bags were full and were put in Wu's car.

Wu's Ma went to the car next to Wu and anxiously asked, "Are you taking all those away?"

Wu said, "Who would eat them? You have diabetes and the doctor will not allow you to eat high-sugar fruits."

"I don't want to eat them." Wu Ma said. "But your little nephew loved eating them, did you forget it?"

Wu pulled his face down. "Aren't you already giving my sister a basket full of these things? Why do you badge me on this car? Do you feel bad about your grandson? Don't you feel sorry for your son?"

"You should have said it earlier! West house has still half a box of apricots. I specially collected it for Big Chi."

Wu said, "You're so eccentric! You're not happy that I picked two bags but you secretly collected a half-box for Chi?!"

"You kid! You don't like it?" Wu's Ma said.

Wu hit back and said, "You said you left a big box of apricots for Chi, why wouldn't I be happy about it?"

Wu felt depressed. Mother cares more for Chi?

On the way back home, Wu's Ma said, "Chi came to visit me two days ago. He also brought a doctor to check on me. He said that he would make the doctor visit me regularly at home to check my health. I don't have to go to the hospital in the province now. Why is Chi so good to me?"

Wu coughed twice to hide his uncomfortable feelings.

"He is good to everyone else."

Wu's Ma said, "So you went to see his parents?"

Chi just walked down the stairs when Wu put his head out of the car window.

"This is my home-made aromatic white apricots. Tell me if they taste good or not."

Wu opened an apricot and found that there were insects inside which he sent to the mouth of Xiao Chu Bao.

Dabao eats apricots, Erbao eats bugs and the warm and loving family is complete. Chi thought.

Chi walked out with the box when he met Li Zhiling who had just came out of the building.

It was a coincidence that he had encountered her. It was fate to meet her twice. He had to say something when he meets her. Wu couldn't help but think, I only come once a week in which every time, I happened to meet her. Is it clear that someone is lucky to meet her every day?

After Li Zhiling finished eating one, she shouted "It's delicious" and put her hand into the box.

"He still likes to eat snacks?" Li Zhiling was quite surprised.

In fact, Chi's favorite snack is dried tofu but Wu has not mentioned it.

Li Zhiling soon entered the next big supermarket. In order to put the "good guys" to the end, Wu also followed her in. Even Chi's love for that brand, he told to Li Zhiling.

After Li Zhiling left, Wu bought another one for what she had bought.

When she went to Chi's office, Chi was absent and the door to his office was close.

Li Zhiling put the things on the desk beside Chi's door leaving a note.

"I'll give you a good meal!"

Then Wu did not go out from the office.

He was waiting for Chi to return. The slipped note disappeared and there were two big bags of snacks on the table. Chi often received these items but basically threw them into other offices to be given for free. Because the person who gave the gift is definitely in this unit, his purpose in doing this is to imply that Chi is not interested with this kind of meaningless thing.

As a result for today, the gifts are all someone's favorite.

So his eyes changed and he took the gifts for the first time.
