Chapter 4: Meeting

Now I'm turned 10years old. Lately more priestess are coming to our house to do checking on me. I dont know what are they looking for in me. But Father and Mother are concerned.

"So what happened Father?" I ask worryingly.

"Nothing bad happen Gierre. They just want to reconfirm your stats growth. Apparently, yours are growing to much quickers than ordinary elf child." My father answered.

"Well, are you want to go with me to our workshop?" Father asked.

"I want!" I run to my father who wait at my room doorsteps. My father catch me and lift me up in the air and carried me on his back. We'are coming out from house, my sister wont come beacuse she too busy playing tea party with Alana.

My father got on his steed and put me sit in front of him. We're going out to farmland in the city ouskirts. A bit later we arrived at our farmlands, my father dismounted and put me down. I'm following father steps to the workshop.

Inside father are fixing the milling machine and he needed my help. After some hours, we heard screaming sounds from workers in our farmlands. The workers ran towards where my father was.

"My lord! Monsters attacking us! They are coming out from the portals!" the workers shouted.

"Notify town garrisons and adventurers to assemble here!" My father said. "Gierre stay here okay?"

"No! I want help you father!" I insisted.

"The monster here are too dangerous. STAY HERE!" My father shouted.

"I want to help!" I insisted again.

"Fine, if you want to help use this bow." My father gave me a small wooden bow inside the workshop. "Dont go too close to the monster okay?"

"Yes father." I answered.

My father runs toward his steed and pick his iron sword from his saddlebag. The monster are coming, they are medium slime. I read from the book this monster are immune to ranged attack. But are not immune to ranged attack infused with element enchanement depending on their colours.

Three blue slime in front of my father mean they weak to lighting enchancement attack. Good things I learned it fast in school. Three shots of my arrow are going straight to the enemy. Bullseye, those theree slime are burned and electrocuted till vanish.

"Nice shots my sons." Praised my father. The garrisons soldier are coming, now my father commanding them to assemble in group parties and search all the monsters and possibly destroy the monsters portals.

I got assigned with my father group alon with 4 soldiers. After walking for so long and searching we're encountered a bunch of goblin. They're swift and pretty weak, my father cut all of them easily. We're moving again and encountered a bunch of fire imp.

I enchance my arrows to water elements. The fire imp dodging my arrows because they are have more agility. The soldiers throw their javelins and kill two of 10 fire imps. An fire imp throw a fiery stone on me and I evaded it.

My father use aura taunts to make all the enemy attack to him. I ready to fire arrow again, this time my arrows hit 3 of the fire imps. The fire imps retreated and we're breathing sigh of reliefs.

Disaster then come, a huge demon dragons appeared. The demon dragons caught us of guard. Father got attacked and disarmed. Father conditions are heavy wounded and cannot continue to fight. I muster up my courage and taking my father sword to protect him.

The soldiers that come to us are heavily wounded. I enchanted my strength and double it. The demon dragon flew high. My eyes are focused where that creature will land and try to pecks me.

While the dragons still flew high I switch back to my bow. I intended to aim for demon dragon eyes. I cast light enchancement on my arrows. At perfect timing, my arrows hit the eyes. The dragons manuvered and didnt hit me.

The demons dragons stunned. I switch back to my swords and charge towards that creature. Slicing his wings and wounded his arms. The dragons roars and transform into a demon general.

"A child wounded me?" the women demon generals run away. I run and tried to catch her.

She cast out a magic and I evaded it. I speed up and jump trying to land a high jump kicks that stun her and capture her. She tried to block my kick using her arms but I broke her arms.

"Gyah! My arms!" her cry apparently attracted all the monster that come with her.

I see a crystal far behind her. Is she trying to outrun me to escape towards the portals? I enchance my strength and outrun her while evade the monsters attack. She panicked that I read her escape plan.

I send a high force jump kicks to destroy the crsytal. The crystal shattered, the demon general transform again into dragons. Trying to escape flying with one broken wings and arms. She failed to take off and I dealt a stunned blow to her head.

All of soldiers and adventurers catch up to me. They saw me defeated a demon general and managed to capture her into captive. Father who has been patched up by medic run to me. "Gierre that was very dangerous!"

"But I managed to capture her father. And destroyed the crsytal portal!" I said.

"Soldiers, capture her with anti magic rope. Bring them to prison so I can introgate her later." My father ordered to his soldiers.

Some soldiers came and took away my prisoners. My father checking my body, "You're using a fighting and warrior technique far away from your age and level. Do you feel pain in any part of your body?"

"No? I'm perfectly fine except some bruises in my arms and my soles feet." I answered honestly.

Some soldiers and adventurers clap for me. They are amazed how a considered baby elfs taking down a demon general alone. Maybe its because my base stats are SS? Now I know why the priestess saw a potential on me. It's because a have a upnormal base stats that can be upgraded.

"Now I'm afraid of loosing you. If your uncle hear it. He will take you away from me." Father hugh me tightly.
