EPISODE 60 — The Root of Fragments

🧠 EPISODE 60 — The Root of Fragments

🔍 Subtitle: When memory bleeds, the future falters.

---

🎬 SCENE 1: The Layers of Memoir — The Return of Breath

Location: A suspended dimensional plane, made up of moving staircases, inverted trees, and suspended lights.

> The avatar Memoir, now weakened, floats in the centre of the Fractured Tree of Time.

Its branches fall slowly, like drops of memories that are no longer wanted.

💬 Mémoïr (gasping, to the absent chosen ones):

> "Oxarys... transcended me. But the world has not changed. It has... closed itself off."

An entity approaches, masked by the mist.

It is Champlain Iᵉʳ, bearer of the Seal of the Pact of Seven.

💬 Champlain:

> "We won a battle... but lost many truths in exchange."

He places his hand on Mémoïr. A flash occurs: visions of ancient fragments explode.

---

🎬 SCENE 2: Residual Memories — Crossed Hallucinations

Each hero who touched the Fragment of Nothingness now suffers from a form of mental distortion:

🟥 Bella Zena: she relives her brother's sacrifice... but he blames her.

🟦 Jackson Nectar: he sees all his comrades die in a repeating loop where he alone survives, ad infinitum.

🟨 Martine Pedro: she hears all the words she never said — regrets, confessions, betrayals.

🟫 Yeliah: she sees herself becoming the mother of a world... then slowly poisoning it.

🟧 Kairos the Samurai: he comes into direct mental contact with an alternative version of himself, one who is much more cruel.

💬 Mirror Kairos:

> "If you continue to protect... you will forget why you were fighting."

---

🎬 SCENE 3: Memoir cracks — Resurgence of the Origin

Memoir trembles. The tree slowly explodes, fragment by fragment.

Then a luminous core appears, suspended in a fractal sphere:

> The Residual Origin — Oxarien's very first memory. Not yet explored. Not yet revealed.

💬 Champlain Iᵉʳ:

> "That's what they want. Not victory. Not the truth. Just... the ability to write the first memory."

But the approach of this sphere attracts something...

---

🎬 SCENE 4: Awakening of the Memory Predator — First Black Signal

A reversed scream pierces Memoir's fabric.

A black tentacle emerges from a mental corner and swallows a portion of the tree.

An unknown entity manifests itself:

> NAH'TËL, the Predator of First Thoughts

— a semi-amorphous, black form, riddled with ancient runes.

It does not speak. It erases.

Everything it touches is immediately forgotten by the real world.

It stares at Kairos... and recoils, as if it recognises him.

💬 Mémoïr (last words):

> "If they free Nah'tël... even Oxarys will be forgotten."

It dissolves.

---

🎬 SCENE 5: Return to Reality — Black Tournament Preparation Room

⏳ 12 survivors are gathered in a closed space, without light or fixed gravity.

A voice echoes, without a body:

🗣️ The Arbiter of Nothingness:

> "The next tournament is not looking for a winner. It is looking for a memory capable of surviving the end of everything."

Among the fighters present:

Vaël-Mir (burned, one eye closed)

Eclipse-777

Neyla-Skan

Tazûr

Kira (now mute)

Blaze Eddy (calm, focused)

Champlain I (weapon sealed)

A new warrior named Kalkhem the Regressed — born without memories.

---

🎬 SCENE 6: Mental Preparation — Silence Before Violence

Everyone meditates. Every heart trembles. Even the strongest have lost a part of themselves.

Kairos finally stands up.

💬 Kairos:

> "From here on... we no longer fight for land. Nor for causes.

We fight... so as not to be erased."

---

🎬 SCENE 7: End — Launch of the Black Tournament

A gong sounds.

> Three doors open onto three fractal zones.

Each chosen one is sucked into a unique battlefield.

> The Black Tournament begins.

---

🎯 To be continued in Episode 61 — Zone I: The Dead Mirrors

> "Where every blow erases a memory... and every victory steals a part of your identity."
