Two days after the peace agreement among the three great factions, summer break arrived.
It was early that morning when a strange sensation jolted me awake.
Something felt... off, down near my lower half.
And it was oddly pleasant.
What the heck?
Something was moving under the blanket, creeping up toward my chest—
"Arrival!" a voice sang out.
A beautiful girl with long black hair emerged—Akino-san!
And she was naked!
Her breasts, her thighs, pressed against me, their softness overwhelming my senses. Akino's body was impossibly supple, like a dream.
"Fufu, Issei-kun, you're bursting with energy this morning," she said, her cheeks faintly flushed. "So big already."
Big...?
No way...!
"D-Did you see it, Akino-san?" I stammered.
"Only through your clothes," she teased.
No way!
Even if it wasn't direct, she saw that!
This is the worst!
"Oh, don't be so shy," Akino said, her voice soothing. "It's only natural for a boy."
Akino-san, that's not helping!
Her slender fingers traced along my body. "Your physique is so strong, Issei-kun. And a man's skin feels better than I expected. Or is it just you? So, what do you think of my body?"
"It's—uh—amazing!" I blurted out.
"I'm glad," she purred, leaning closer. "You can enjoy it more, you know. Even with others sleeping nearby, we could be sneaky... wouldn't that be fun?"
Blood spurted from my nose.
Akino-san, you're too much!
Sometimes I swear she's even wilder than me!
She shifted, straddling me, her gaze locking onto mine. "So, Issei-kun, how about we..."
Her face inched closer.
No way, is this happening?
Right beside me, Miu, Rias, and Asia were fast asleep, their soft breaths filling the air.
Are we really doing this here?
My rational mind screamed in protest.
But—damn it—my instincts were screaming something else entirely!
I was ready to give in to Akino—
"What are you doing, Akino?" a voice cut through.
I glanced over, heart sinking. There stood Rias, radiating an aura of pure fury.
Terrifying!
Big Sis Rias is terrifying!
Akino, unfazed, clung to me tighter, as if flaunting it. "Just some skinship," she said sweetly. "Starting the morning with my adorable Issei-kun."
Her words sent Rias's mood plummeting further. Trembling with rage, she snapped, "Your Issei-kun? Since when are you his master?"
"I don't need to be his master to dote on him," Akino shot back. "It's a senior's duty to spoil her junior, isn't it?"
"Senior, huh?" Rias's voice was icy. "This is my sanctuary. Asia or Miu, fine—but no one else gets to barge in! This is our room, Issei's and mine!"
Since when did my room become ours? News to me!
"Oh my, Rias, you're so possessive," Akino teased. "Scared I'll steal him away?"
"We need to have a talk," Rias growled.
Her aura surged, crackling with power. Akino countered with a golden glow of her own. Their energies clashed, sparking audibly.
Hey, what's going on here?
It's morning! What's with this showdown?
Is this my fault?
It's totally my fault, isn't it?
Asia, Miu, wake up already! How can you sleep through this?
Should I wake them? Their sleeping faces are too cute to disturb!
Thwack! Thwack!
I turned toward the sound—Rias and Akino were hurling pillows at each other!
What is happening this morning?
"You always try to touch what's precious to me!" Rias shouted.
"It's just a little fun!" Akino retorted. "You're so stingy, Rias!"
"This house was just renovated, and I won't let you do whatever you want!"
"Sirzechs said to live harmoniously!"
"My brother and you are always getting in my way! I'm done!"
"Lend me Issei-kun! Sirzechs would want that!"
"No way!" Rias yelled.
Whoa, their usual refined tones were gone—they were bickering like teenage girls!
Despite their poised, ladylike exteriors, they were just girls their age at heart. As I mused on this, their argument escalated.
"You talk big, but you haven't done anything with Issei-kun!" Akino taunted. "Still a virgin, too scared to even ○×△!"
"You're a virgin too!" Rias shot back. "I could do ×△□ if I wanted!"
Ugh, it's like that pool incident all over again.
I'm flattered they're fighting over me, but this is getting out of hand.
Wait a second.
I replayed their words. Renovated house?
I noticed the bed—massive, easily fitting five of us with room to spare. A canopy above? The room was huge, three, maybe five times its original size! The TV was a sleek new model, and the gaming console was cutting-edge.
What the heck?
This isn't my room!
I bolted out, racing through the house. The hallway was twice as wide. Where am I? This looks like a luxury hotel from TV!
As I dashed downstairs, I recalled yesterday. The Occult Research Club girls moved in, and there was talk of renovating because the house was too small. But... while I was sleeping?
I burst outside and gaped at the house. It was over twice its original size, now a six-story mansion.
"What the hell is this?!" I shouted.
At breakfast, in a dining room five times larger than before, Dad looked around, impressed. "Demonic power is something else. Renovating while we slept?"
Around the massive table sat me, my parents, Miu, Rias, Asia, Akino, Xenovia, Koneko-chan, and Raynare. I nodded. "Demonic power is wild. I didn't expect a before-and-after like this."
Rias bowed to my parents. "Father, Mother, thank you for welcoming my club members."
"No trouble at all, Rias," Mom said. "We love the lively household. Treat us like family, everyone."
The club members nodded. My parents, aware of the three factions, had celebrated the peace treaty like it was their own victory. They weren't fazed by Raynare, a fallen angel, living here. I wondered if angels would move in too. Knowing my parents, they'd roll with it.
Mom brought out a blueprint. "First floor: guest room, living room, kitchen, Japanese-style room. Second floor: Issei, Miu, Rias, and Asia's rooms. Third floor: our room, study, storage. Fourth floor: Akino, Xenovia, Koneko-chan, and Raynare's rooms."
Each member had their own room. How many rooms were there? Chandeliers, a giant TV—this place was unreal.
"Fifth and sixth floors are empty for now," Mom continued. "Guest rooms or meeting spaces. For demon business, right?"
"Yes," Rias confirmed. "We'll use them for meetings."
"Let me know, and I'll prepare tea," Mom offered.
"Thank you, Mother," Rias said.
Mom's even accommodating demon work. That's next-level.
The house was a nine-story mansion—six above ground, three below—with an elevator, theater, gym, indoor pool, and grand bath. Demonic power was insane.
"Oh, Tia's moving in too," Mom added.
"WHAT?!" I yelled, my second scream of the day.
"Back to the Underworld?" Rias asked after breakfast.
We were lounging in my now-massive room, joined by Kiba and Gasper, so the entire Occult Research Club was present.
"Yes," Rias said. "Every summer, I return to the Underworld."
Got it. So, what's the plan for summer break? I had nothing lined up.
"Any plans, Miu?" I asked.
"Nope," she said. "Just homework and chilling."
"Same here. Matsuda and Motohama invited us to the beach. Wanna go?"
"Beach sounds fun," Miu said.
Rias gave a wry smile. "Sorry, Issei, but you're coming with me. All my retainers are expected to join me in the Underworld."
Seriously? Well, it makes sense—servants follow their master. Guess I'll have to ditch Matsuda and Motohama. I'll email them later.
So, the demon club members are headed to the Underworld. But what about Raynare?
"What about you, Raynare? Coming with us?" I asked.
"Sorry, I've got work here," she said.
"Work?"
"Remember I mentioned being the Governor-General's secretary?" she said.
"Oh, right, when Azazel-sensei revealed his identity," I recalled. That moment was unforgettable.
"I'm also the deputy director of Grigori's diplomatic bureau," Raynare added. "Just a stand-in, though."
Everyone gaped. "This town's a key hub for the three factions," she explained. "I handle talks with demons and angels—security, among other things."
Raynare was a superstar. I knew she was capable, but deputy director? Wow.
"I knew about the talks, but not that you were the fallen angel envoy," Rias said.
Raynare laughed awkwardly. "Yeah, the actual deputy director collapsed from overwork, so..."
Wait, was that one of the people hospitalized?
"The Underworld, huh," Miu mused. She'd never been, not being a demon. Probably curious.
"No plans? Come with us," Rias offered.
"Really, Rias-san?" Miu asked.
"You can't join the young demons' gathering, but sightseeing's fine," Rias said.
"Young demons' gathering?" I asked.
"This isn't just a homecoming," Rias explained. "My brother proposed a networking event for the next generation of Underworld leaders. As the Gremory heir, I have to attend."
Makes sense. Miu at a demon event would stand out, though she'd probably draw attention just sightseeing.
"What's Azazel-sensei doing here?" I asked.
Everyone turned. There stood Azazel-sensei, the fallen angel Governor-General and club advisor, in a stylish dark kimono, holding a paper bag.
"Where'd you come from?" Rias blinked.
"The front door," Azazel said casually.
"Didn't sense a thing," Kiba muttered. Catching Azazel's presence was beyond them.
"Just needs more training," Azazel said. "Issei, where are your parents?"
"Dad's at work, Mom's shopping," I said.
"Bad timing. Wanted to greet them," he said.
"Greet them?"
"My students are staying here," he said. "It's only proper, especially with the three factions involved."
Everyone nodded, impressed. He's surprisingly proper about this stuff.
"You thinking something rude?" Azazel asked, squinting.
We shook our heads, laughing nervously. Nope, not at all.
"What's in the bag?" I asked.
"Got some fine sake for your parents," he said. "Can you pass it along?"
"Sure," I said, taking the bag. Two bottles. I felt almost guilty for his generosity.
"You're heading to the Underworld, right? I'm coming," Azazel said, flipping through a notebook. "Your schedule: Rias's homecoming, introducing retainers to the current head, the young demons' gathering, and training. I'm mainly there for the training, but I've got meetings with Sirzechs. What a hassle."
He sounded genuinely annoyed. Hard to believe he's so trusted by his subordinates.
Rias turned to him. "So, you're coming with us, Sensei? Should I book your travel?"
"Sorry for the trouble," he said. "First time using the demon route to the Underworld. Should be fun—usually take the fallen angel path."
The Underworld, huh. Last time I went, I'd just turned demon and passed out. We used a magic circle then. Same deal this time?
I sent Matsuda and Motohama a quick email: Miu and I are skipping the beach. Going on a trip with the club!
Their replies came fast.
Die! Fall to hell!
At least let Miu-chan come!
No way I'm letting my cute sister near those guys!
