Synopsis

Alex Chen has the worst job in the world of the Awakened.

While S-rank heroes clear 7-star dungeons for millions in prize money, Alex makes $300 a day filming B-rank teams struggle through 2-star death traps. As an F-rank "Awakened" with barely enough power to lift a camera, he's resigned himself to watching other people live the dream.

But when a routine dungeon raid goes sideways and Alex finds himself face-to-face with a monster that should have killed him instantly, something impossible happens.

He copies the technique of the B-rank swordsman he's been filming. Perfectly. Instantly. Without any training.

[Combat Data Archive - Activated]

Now Alex can record, store, and replicate any fighting technique he observes. A Phoenix Guild mage's fire manipulation? Copied. An underground fighter's brutal combat style? Downloaded. The legendary S-rank techniques that only exist in highlight reels? Just another entry in his growing archive.

But in a world where power determines everything, Alex's new ability makes him the most dangerous person alive. Every guild wants to recruit him. Every government wants to control him. And somewhere in the shadows, the mysterious beings who gave him this power are watching, waiting to see if humanity's newest weapon will save the world...

Or destroy it.

From F-rank failure to the ultimate combatant. From observer to operator. Welcome to the Combat Data Archive.
