I woke up... my whole body aching.

A doctor walked in.

> "Your body isn't stable yet."

> "Where's my brother?!"

> "He's probably fine. Don't worry too much. You and your brother have powers beyond normal humans."

> "But still…"

> "Sit. Down."

> "...Fine."

I looked out the window.

The light hit my skin again.

Exhaustion... still lingering.

Suddenly, an alert echoed through the room.

> Warning: Demon-Class Threat Detected!

> "What?! What now?!"

I tried to get up—

WHACK!

The doctor struck me down.

> "I told you! You're not allowed to move!!"

I suddenly jolted up.

> "You're too reckless, Kael."

> "I... Where's my brother?!"

> "We don't know. He's vanished."

> "WHAT?!!"

I screamed, fists clenched in rage.

> "You were knocked out cold for a whole day by the doctor, haha."

> "A whole day…?"

> "Yup."

Please... let him be okay.

> "And that demon-class threat?"

> "It disappeared... strangely."
