The monster was hearing none of that.
It had a mission and it was to end this players.
ROARRR!
'Another one?'
Drahon quickly stood up and started running forward, towards the Boss monster.
If it was to roar forward, all Drahon had to do was be near it so the roar doesn't affect him.
He just had to be by the middle of it's large legs.
Well this was only an assumption as he wasn't even sure of what he was doing.
It was worth a try!
The players stared at him, surprised.
Why was he running towards the monster!
But Drahon was persistent, he had already picked up his sword before the run and now he was holding it very tightly.
The monster who was just half way into giving a roar that would peel Drahon's skin off suddenly waited and stared at him.
Drahon panicked a bit, but not for long. All this was according to plan.
All according to plan!
He had wanted to tell the other players to help distract the monster but then, there wasn't enough time to do that and so he had to result to doing it himself - just for the meantime actually as he was only but a single person and couldn't exactly do this by his own.
The Boss monster growled as he stared and Drahon and the latter looked back at the players, waving.
Since the Boss monster had High IQ and could easily comprehend whatever he was up say to the players, he was limited in what to say.
He wanted to say to the players:
'Hey!, help me distract this son of a 'witch' (or a wizard), but he couldn't so that as the Boss monster would comprehend what he was saying and stomp on his fragile body.
The players stared at Drahon blankly.
'What was he trying to convey' was what they thought.
What was Drahon trying to say to them.
The Boss Monster now raised one of it's large legs, about to step on Dra…
If only depended on if the players were smart enough. Drahon's life depended on that. Devon was there, he was Smart, right?
'Damn!, goddamn!'
His life was one the line here and what was he trying to do?, he was simply trying to save all of them.
Risking his life for that purpose.
The Boss monster's leg slowly descended…
Dragon was still running, his chest heaving with ×1000 [and more], adrenaline. He hadn't been so scared in his entire life - which wasn't so adventurous, but even, since entering the game world, he hadn't been this afraid.
Just a few centimetres apart from his head, Drahon stared at the legs, breathing like his brain had been flipped upside down. Even though he was running, he still was no match for this beast of a creature who was times 11 his size.
And then…
And arrow whittled in the air, aiming at the Boss monster. Drahon saw it from afar, in that split second he saw it, it was into the monster's eyes.
Boom!
Thut!
It had stick into one eye, the left to be precise and if the monster had a retina, it was sure kissing upon the surface right now.
Drahon almost screamed in excitement.
'FINALLY!'
The arrow was from Justin and just as Drahon was about to wonder how it could stick so well in a monster's eyes, he heard the Justin shout:
"The arrow is a Tier S!"
Booyah!
"Keep them coming!" Drahon shouted on top of his voice. "Plunge them into it's goddamn brain."
Justin nodded, following commands as he set seven arrows at once on his slick looking now and….
Fweeeer! (This zipping sound arrows make when it thrusts through the sky in mass multitude in medieval movies).
Boom!
It went towards the Boss monster, doing so with much precision.
Drahon grinned, moving a bit from his current position so the arrows wouldn't meet him.
Zap!
Tap!
Zap!
Kap!
Dap!
Zap!
Trraapp!
It stuck onto the Boss monster who gave out a really loud shout.
The arrows had pierced it's ribcage, it's back bone, a tender looking bone by it's spine and the second eye.
Booyah!
Drahon stood up, brandishing the weapon in his hands.
It was time to go 'FULL WAR MODE'
Be crazy, be mad, be insane!
As long as you get this monsters down.
Drahon shouted and ran at the monster who was bending down a bit, reeling slightly, like he was loosing stamina.
This was the player's chance to strike.
Following Dragon's shout of war, they all ran after the monster, raising their weapons in the air and shouting like all hell had been let loose.
Justin didn't join them though, he only stayed back, holding his bow, positioning himself to send another series of arrows at the Boss monster again.
He had drahon seemed to be the hero of this Boss level already.
Drahon came up with the idea to distract, while he delivered.
Simple as Boom!
His weapon was also really cool.
The bow looked like something that was crafted from dark, polished yew wood, its limbs elegantly curved with subtle engravings along the grip. A taut, sinew string connected both ends and though it looked simple in design, it had this look of something with a silent precision. It was lean, deadly, and built for swift, accurate shots.
A leather quiver slung over his back, tilted for quick draw, its feathered shafts peeking just above his shoulder. Justin now took arrows from there. He had summoned it along with the bow and arrow when they were about to face the Boss monster and from the description, the arrows that layed there were limitless, meaning he could shoot out a lot of shots and they would still be there, as they were when he hadn't touched them.
Each arrow was sleek and straight, and it's shaft looked like something that was carved from ash wood. It was fletched with dark feathers at the tail and the arrowhead was (perhaps) forged from blackened steel, razor-sharp and barbed, designed to pierce through armor with ease.
Drahon was now climbing briskly by the left leg of the monster, hitting it with his sword.
The other players were doing the same, including Devon, who was moving like a pro.
Justin too was ready, setting nine arrows at once…
