Chapter 50
“He has to be a very, very, intelligent, man.”
As I expected, Rexid just blinked with a blank expression on his face.
When I smirked and tapped his cheek once, he finally snapped out of it and nodded his head slowly.
“Oh, okay…”
“It may sound a bit picky, but…”
“A bit picky? No, that’s very picky.”
Rexid cold-heartedly cut me off. There was no specific look on his face, but he seemed slightly upset.
“Right? But when you said you would pick a husband for me, Your Highness, I was… touched. I’ll leave it up to you, okay?”
“Whatever.”
Rexid shrugged with the same face and turned around.
“I won’t be able to find a man like that even if I search through the entire continent. I think you’d be alone for the rest of your life.”
“How cruel of you. You might find one if you look hard enough.”
“No, there isn’t one. Just live alone for the rest of your life. I’m leaving now.”
Stomp, stomp, stomp-!
