Chapter 6

The wedding hall was packed with guests.

I remembered my wedding in my past life. Lorenzo had said there was no need to “show off,” so we had canceled everything, leaving us with hardly any guests.

The desolation of that day was a stark contrast to the vibrant celebration today.

Stroking the fabric of my gown, I marveled again at how fate had blessed me with a chance to choose my life anew. Before I knew it, tears were streaming down my face.

Vincent came over and gently wiped away my tears.

“Is marrying me so painful? I've already blocked a hundred of Lorenzo's calls for you.”

I couldn't help but let out a soft laugh at his words.

Vincent's expression remained gentle as he took my hand.

“Come on, the ceremony is starting.”

I took his arm, and we walked out slowly.

Even though I had experienced this in my past life, I couldn't help but feel nervous in front of so many people.
