The employee glanced at her whilst holding another girl by her head, wriggling and crying for mercy. But then—

Blood dripped down onto her cheek, tears rolling down from both her eyes. The headless body then dropped down onto the cold porcelain tiles. She looked up to the employee with disbelief written on her face—Witnessing her groupmate's agonizing death.
Anger rushing in her blood, she took the dagger that laid on the ground. Then charged at the employee.
"Die, die, you fucking monster—"
Splatters of blood painted the walls, her body half-soaked in the employees black-coloured blood. Panting and laughing, she continues stabbing the employee until its chest is fully pierced through.
Staring again at the cursed, damned half-eaten bread, she took it and shoved it inside the employee, cursing it altogether.
As she stood up all wobbly, she walked over the corpses and stared at the brightly lit panel.

It was then when Eunha had finally finished severing an employee's arm. It took a few swings, but she managed.
"..Well that works, right?"
Lifting up the severed arm of the employee, the bone sticking out and blood dripping down. She looked at it with both awe and disgust, secretly amazed by how realistic it is.
Getting up from her knee, she then stored the knife and went to the event stall. Placed the severed arm on the counter. Two phantom leather gloved hands suddenly appeared and took the arm, dragging it into the black void it emerged from—soon, it placed a small envelope on the blood-smudged counter.
Taking the envelope, she opened it to see its contents.
'500, 000 won, it's enough, I guess.'
Putting the money back inside the envelope, she sealed it shut and stored it inside her inventory.
Looking at the table and chairs laid down near the event's stand, she guessed it's an appropriate place to eat. Stomach grumbling, she took a piece of bread from a nearby shelf, sat down and started eating it.
Satisfied with her fill, she went on to check the duration.

Taking out the folded sticky note from her pocket, she re-reads the contents written on the paper again.

Reading through the panels, she closed them one by one as she was done reading them. It was then she noticed the disdainful look on the girl's face beside her, it seemed like she went through insanity. Just as she was about to approach the discomforted girl, a group of 3 girls came calling her name and started talking to her. The girl's name they called was Kim Yun-ah, the girl on the leader board.
Standing beside her, she didn't mean to eavesdrop but her ears of course still hear their conversations. Feeling like she had invaded the girls privacy, she walked away from them.

A little bit disturbed by the small touch on her shoulder, she knew it was her brother's doing again.
"Haha, don't be so mad."
"Ugh.. Whatever, I thought you were gone for good."
"?? Didn't you just see the leaderboard?"
"Your name is invalid."
".. So, are we just gonna keep doing this or what?" Jaehyun interrupted with a sigh.
"Oh right, right, let's get back on our masterplan."
"—let's team up!"

'...Is this guy joking? I could never stand beside him for more than ten minutes, I swear.'
"-It's better to team up with people you're familiar with, also i want to return the favor of you helping me get the employees uniform," Jaehyun continues Eunho's words, trying to neutralize both sides.
"...I want to team up with my group," She replied a few seconds later.
"Oh but they're all eliminated aren't they?" Eunho speaking out the truth
'Crap.'
'Wait they are?'
A slight hint of realization hits her, she had been separated from her own group ever since the start with no news of them during the game and after the game, not even their names on the leaderboard.
Sighing again with unease, she then looked up at the two seniors again.
'It's a temporary contract right?'
'If that's so, I can just ditch them once I find another plausible group.'
"Alright, fine, let's form a team."
"I'll be glad to work with you then," her brother said with a mockery smile.
".. Let's hope for the better." -famous last words before jaehyun's peace gets interrupted 24/7.
'It sounds like a dying team being eaten up by sarcasm.'
Then, Eunho pulled out the team listing contract, signing his name. It was a four player maximum team, despite missing a member, they all continued to sign the contract and placed it inside the submit panel.
"By the way, how did you escape, Jaehyun?"
"Ah, I just took a sick leave before the morning shift. What about you?"
"I, let's not talk about that."
Chiming into the two's small conversation, Eunho added; "I talked to other players over there before, they said they found some lost money on corpses or missing persons, then went out to check out on the third day."
Chatting again for a while, a pop up emerged to every player, signalling the Intermission time is over.

And then suddenly, they were all teleported into a building, a spacious fancy looking hall is seen. Its warm white walls look modern—but classy, luxurious decorations displayed all around, and a golden angel statue in the middle of the hall, right under the breathtaking chandelier. It seems like a dream, floating stairs and everything, faceless butlers and maids walking around, doing their job serving the guests.
She noticed she was holding something in her hand, it was a key to her room.

Three digits are imprinted on the key. After observing the key, a small indicator panel popped up, it's an identification panel. The contents of the panel insisted that the key could never be stolen and will always be with her once needed.
And suddenly, an announcement broke out in the hall. A cheery female voice came through, she sounded excited to greet the newly arrived guests.
—"Greetings my dearest guests! It seems like you have arrived safely to our hotel!"
Some of the players are uncomfortable and some are unfazed by the words spoken by the lady through the mic. But she continues her warm greetings;

A continuous classical-music style started playing after the broadcast. It was cheery and happy, with a bit of nostalgia. Sounding static like those old radio playing, without a doubt, everyone just continued and started gathering at the display board, showcasing the list of rules and maps.
The building is constructed by the following; The main Hall being on the first floor, but the next upper floors divided into two towers, with a few bridges connecting the two towers on the third and fifth floor. The map only showed the blueprint of the main Hall and the second floor. They noted specifically that the next floors are the same as the second floor, so there was nothing to worry about.
Beside the maps, there's listed short written rules.
—Rules:
1.For your safety and the tranquility of other guests, never take off our staff's masks.
2.The elevator operates on a unique schedule. Only non-player characters are able to use it.
3.Please don't fight amongst yourselves; we reassure you of your own safety by removing the problem.
