Side Chapter: After the Silence.

(The Family That Buried the Truth)

🩸 The Basement — 20 Minutes Later

The storm outside still raged, but inside the house… there was silence.

Heavy. Bloody. Guilt-stained silence.

Neha stood over the bodies of Khushi and Ron, her hands shaking, lips trembling.

"I… I didn't mean to go this far…"

Nisha sat in the corner, her dress soaked in blood and rainwater, whispering, "I didn't… I didn't mean to kill them…"

Neha snapped. "STOP crying! Help me. We'll say they ran away. It's believable. She was planning to leave anyway!"

They began to drag the bodies toward an old trunk.

Then—

"KHUSHI!?"

Pandurang's voice thundered from the stairs.

He had woken from his nap… and seen the basement door open.

"KHUSHI?!" he shouted again.

Namrata followed him, a torch in hand. "Where is Ron?"

They stepped into the basement.

And stopped.

Pandurang dropped to his knees.

"NAHI! NAAAHIIII!"

(No! NOOOO!)

Namrata let out a wail — the kind that rips through skin and soul.

"KHUSHI! RONU!!"

Neha stumbled back. "It was an accident. Please listen, Baba—"

"Shut up," Pandurang growled, eyes red. "Don't you DARE say her name!"

🧓 The Confrontation

Sanjay arrived 10 minutes later, confused, irritated.

"What's going on?"

No one answered.

Then he saw the bodies.

The blood.

The heartbreak.

His heart dropped.

"...Khushi?"

"Your daughter," Namrata spat. "Your blood. Your light. Gone."

Sanjay staggered back.

His eyes locked on Nisha.

"What did you do…?"

Nisha fell at his feet. "Baba… I didn't… she just— I was angry! I didn't mean to—!"

He didn't raise his hand.

He didn't scream.

He just whispered…

"You're not my daughter."

Nisha froze.

"I lost my real daughter tonight. And you're the reason."

🔥 The Decision

Neha stepped forward, trying to gain control.

"We'll do the proper rites. We'll say it was a gas leak or something. They were always clumsy—"

"ENOUGH," Pandurang roared.

"We will do the rites," Sanjay said softly.

Pandurang looked down "But not for peace. For justice."

They performed the last rites two days later.

Khushi and Ron's photos were placed beside Sonali's.

A crowd gathered.

Whispers floated.

"Such a bright girl…"

"So young…"

"They say it was an accident, but something feels off…"

🧓 The Final Betrayal

After the funeral, Sanjay stood with his parents.

"I've made a decision."

Pandurang looked up. "What now?"

"You will go to The Patil ancestral home.

Namrata flinched. "What? You're throwing us out?"

"You interfered too much. Blamed my wife. Created drama."

Neha smirked silently in the corner.

Pandurang stared at his son like he was staring at a stranger.

"You are the second person I buried this week," he said. "But this time, the body is still breathing."

🚪 Outside the House

As Pandurang and Namrata packed their small bags, neighbors wept.

"They're leaving the house they built…"

No one dared question Sanjay. No one had the strength.

Before stepping out, Namrata turned once, eyes filled with fire.

"This house will burn one day," she whispered.

"And no one will be left to save you."

🕊️ The End of two lifes

Thus ended the first life of Khushi and Ron.

Two innocent lives buried under lies, betrayal, and blood.

But in the ashes of sorrow…

A new fire would rise.

Because revenge remembers everything.
