"The Re-Conjuring. College Addition.."

Aliyah tugged Prizey's arm gently.

"Hey, Prizey, I already sent the address to Simon. Everyone's in the cafeteria right now. Come on—we need to finalize the play."

Prizey nodded.

"Alright, let's go…"

---

Inside the Cafeteria

Rozy clapped her hands with excitement.

"So, we've decided to perform Romeo and Juliet! I'll be Juliet… and my Romeo will be Simon!"

Simon, who was peacefully sipping his banana shake, choked so hard it nearly sprayed out of his nose.

"W-what?!" he coughed, gasping.

"No way! Never ever! I am not playing Romeo. Wait—are we seriously doing that play?"

Sonia rolled her eyes.

"Yes, Simon. It's romantic and emotional—everyone loves that stuff."

Aliyah crossed her arms.

"Do any of you even use your brains? That play is ancient. Every second group performs Romeo and Juliet. It's way too common."

John chimed in.

"Then how about Titanic? And Prizey can play Rose!"

Prizey turned toward him with an incredulous look.

"Wait, what?! Rose? You mean a girly role? Never. I hate such roles. And for the record, I don't even like Titanic."

Aliyah groaned.

"Come on, guys, at this rate we'll waste the entire day!"

Simon leaned back with a smirk.

"Why not try something fictional—like vampires?"

Prizey raised a brow.

"Excuse me, vampires aren't fictional. They're real. If anything, werewolves are considered the 'fictional' ones."

Simon chuckled.

"Oh really? Ever seen a vampire in real life? And you believe in werewolves? Step out of your fantasy world, darling."

Prizey snapped.

"Don't you dare call me darling. And yes—I have seen a vampire. One is standing right in front of me… only difference is, instead of drinking blood, this one feeds on people's brain's!"

Simon smirked.

"At least I don't suck blood like those filthy vampires."

Prizey narrowed her eyes.

"You—ugh, I swear I'm gonna—"

Aliyah stood up and shouted.

"Just STOP! You two are always at each other's throats. Can't you try being friends for once?"

Prizey snorted.

"Never. Not in this lifetime. Anyway, forget all this—decide on the play already. I've got to hit the gym. I skipped my workout yesterday."

Max stepped in.

"Okay okay, relax. Prizey, how about you give us an idea?"

Prizey thought for a moment, tapping her finger against her lip.

"I think we should move beyond the same old romance and breakup dramas. We need something fresh, something intense."

Her eyes lit up.

"Wait—what about The Conjuring? It's based on real events, and we already have most of the roles covered... Well, we might need a few more members."

Aliyah raised a concern.

"But doesn't that story need a baby too?"

Simon grinned wickedly.

"Then let's plan a baby..."

He glanced meaningfully at Prizey.

Everyone went silent.

Prizey's POV (internal monologue):

> What the hell did he just say...?

Plan a baby...? With me?!

Her eyes snapped to him. He wasn't even trying to hide that cocky little smirk. His stupidly perfect jaw flexed as he fought back a laugh, like he knew exactly what effect his words had on her.

Oh no. Nope. That's not happening. He did not just look at me like that. Ugh.

Why did her cheeks feel hot? Why did her heart betray her with that skip?

Get it together, Prizey. He's a walking headache with fangs. You hate him. You absolutely hate him.

But something inside her whispered... "Do you really?"

She glanced at him again. He was now casually sipping his shake like he hadn't just dropped a nuclear-level flirt bomb in front of everyone.

You arrogant, teasing, smirking... vampire-brained wolf-boy.

She wanted to slap that grin off his face.

Or maybe...

kiss it off.

NO. Bad thoughts. Go away.

She crossed her arms, huffed, and looked away.

But not before she caught him still staring—

eyes gleaming like he'd just won the game.

Prizey glared.

"What kind of nonsense is that?"

Sonia leaned forward flirtatiously.

"Oh Simon, you're so flirty. I love your energy."

Prizey clenched her fists.

"Ugh, just stop. Who said we need a real baby? We can use a doll and hide a crying audio inside. Easy."

Max blinked in admiration.

"You're a genius."

Prizey smirked.

"It's called common sense, Max."

He laughed.

"Yeah, and it only exists in you."

Aliyah counted on her fingers.

"So right now, we're four girls and three boys. We need one more of each."

Simon casually said,

"I'll bring a girl. You guys can arrange the boy."

Prizey's head snapped toward him—not with her usual cold glare, but something far more dangerous… jealousy.

Simon noticed immediately, and it sent a wicked thrill through him.

Simons POV: "Ohhh, so my little wildcat feels jealous? Don't worry, sweetheart… someday, this jealousy will turn into love."

Out loud, Simon continued with a grin,

"Horror sounds perfect. Now that's interesting."

Aliyah nodded, clapping her hands.

"Alright! We're performing The Conjuring: The Haunted House."

Rozy whimpered.

"But it's scary…"

Prizey rolled her eyes.

"Rozy, forget about fear and focus—"

Max interrupted quickly.

"Just imagine you're wandering the streets of New York, Rozy."

Her eyes sparkled.

"Ooooh, yes!"

"Then you're doing this play too," Max said quickly.

Rozy pouted but nodded.

"Fine…"

Aliyah looked at Simon and Max.

"Please arrange someone soon. And if anyone agrees, send them Max's address. Got it?"

Simon, Max, and John spoke in unison.

"We're on it."

Aliyah turned to Sonia.

"Let's go tell the P.T. teacher about the play and inform them two more members are joining. The rest of you—be at my house at sharp 4 PM tomorrow. We'll assign roles there."

Prizey clapped her hands, drawing everyone's attention in Max's cozy living room. The team sat in a loose circle—some on bean bags, some on the carpet. The air was filled with excitement... and just a hint of competitive tension.

Prizey (confidently): "Alright, that's great! Our team's finally complete. But just so you all know—we only have one week."

John: "Wait… what?! Just one week?"

Max: "One week? That's insane! How are we going to pull this off?"

Prizey rolled her eyes playfully and folded her arms.

Prizey: "Don't panic. If someone has true dedication, a single day can change everything. We have seven. That's more than enough—if we stay focused."

There was a silence. Then, from the side, John muttered under his breath, almost too softly:

John (in a low voice): "That's exactly why you are the leader… my dear Prizey."

But it wasn't too soft for Simon.

His sharp ears caught it.

Simon (in his mind, narrowing his eyes): Oh really, John?

Let's see what your intentions really are…

Prizey clapped again, her tone now strict and commanding.

Prizey: "Okay! We're starting rehearsals from today. No breaks. And remember—this isn't about just winning. It's about delivering perfection in every act. Every emotion, every reaction, must feel real. Because the audience doesn't vote for effort. They feel your truth."

Everyone (together): "Yes, ma'am!"

Prizey (nodding): "Good. I'll now assign your characters. Aliyah will distribute the scripts. Once you have your part, we'll rewatch The Conjuring—again and again—until your acting feels natural. No fakes allowed."

As Prizey opened her notebook, Rozy leaned forward to say something—but suddenly froze when she felt a warm hand gently grab hers.

Louis (softly whispering): "I know you get scared of horror… but it's time to be brave, my dear. And this... this is the perfect place to start."

Rozy's heartbeat skipped. She stared at him wide-eyed, frozen as if time had paused. Her breath caught in her throat.

It took a few seconds before she could stammer:

Rozy: "I… o-okay. I-I'll t-try…"

Louis released her hand with a subtle smile.

Louis: "Good. Keep that spirit."

Prizey, unaware of the tiny moment that just passed, raised her voice:

Prizey: "Alright—time for character assignments!"

Scene: Casting the Roles – The Conjuring Play Rehearsals

Prizey stood confidently at the center, clipboard in hand, clearly in charge.

Prizey (determined):

"So, I'll play Lorraine Warren. Honestly, I've always preferred ghost investigations over haunted possessions. And my partner, who will play Ed Warren, will be—"

Before she could finish, Aliyah interrupted with a wide grin.

Aliyah (excitedly):

"Simon! Simon will play Ed Warren!"

Simon turned toward her with a raised brow and a small smirk.

Simon:

"That's my favorite friend speaking."

Aliyah (with a proud smile):

"Yeah, always!"

Prizey (confused):

"Wait, what?! I didn't choose Simon..."

Aliyah (confidently):

"Yes, you did! And anyway, Simon totally gives off investigator vibes—with that serious face and mysterious aura. He fits the Ed role perfectly."

Prizey (insisting):

"Nope. Never. I was going to cast Louis as Ed."

Aliyah (playfully challenging):

"No way! Louis himself said he wants to play Bathsheba. And you said it yourself—we want perfection. So Simon it is."

Prizey (grumbling):

"Fine. But during rehearsals, Simon better keep his unnecessary comments to himself. Understood?"

Simon (with a teasing smirk):

"Let's see, Miss Lorraine Warren."

Prizey shot him a classic death glare.

Shaking it off, she turned back to the team.

Prizey (authoritatively):

"Alright, the main character, the mother—Carolyn Perron—will be played by Aliyah. And the father..."

Before she could finish, the whole team shouted in unison:

Everyone:

"Maxxxxx!"

Max burst into laughter while Aliyah covered her mouth, trying not to giggle.

Max (teasing dramatically):

"So, my dear sweet darling… we've become parents without any wedding or baby planning. Wow, this already feels romantic, huh?"

Aliyah (trying to act stern):

"Stop it! We're not alone—you're embarrassing me!"

Max (grinning mischievously):

"Embarrassed? You? Darling, I don't know the meaning of shame. Maybe take me to a private room and teach me?"

Louis (rolling his eyes):

"Lovebirds again… making us singles feel more single."

The group erupted in laughter. Even Prizey couldn't help but smile.

Prizey (shaking her head):

"I was literally about to say Max for the father's role. So yeah, that's perfect."

She flipped a page on her clipboard.

Prizey:

"The elder sister—Andrea Perron—will be Sonia. She's mature, composed, and I can totally see her owning the role."

Sonia (smirking proudly):

"Finally, you've recognized my true potential. And honestly, I love the role. So, I'm in."

Prizey (genuinely):

"Thanks, Sonia, for cooperating so smoothly."

Sonia just gave her a knowing smirk.

Prizey:

"For the middle daughter, Nancy Perron, we have Lina. And the second middle daughter will be Rozy. She's innocent and sweet—perfect for the part.

Rozy (nervously):

"W-wait… I'm playing… the little girl?"

Louis (with a soft grin):

"You'll be the bravest one here, Rozy. Don't worry. I'll be around…"

Rozy's cheeks turned red. Not from fear—but from Louis's words.

Simon (in his mind):

Why does this whole thing feel like a romantic horror drama instead of a college project?

Prizey (final note):

"And the youngest baby daughter will be a doll, which we'll use during our scenes."
