Registration and evaluation pt 2 .

There is really nothing that i can do, i shouldn't say this but the crown prince sent someone to notify us that mr.Ryuu already gave up on his position as a hero .

So he sent someone to make sure that we cancelled all the privileges that the Adventurer's guild would give to someone like him , no offense .

None taken , what is going on mr.Regard ?.

Normally for you in particular to register you will just have to give them your ID and they will need to check your status in general and your attributes specially to make sure that all your current informations are stored within the kingdom archive which as long as you are still staying in the kingdom will be automatically updating your status and informing the Adventurer's guild of it occasionally .

But now that you lost that privilege you will have to register like normal people do by being evaluated on the basis of both your attributes and your capability to fight .

I got the idea of the evaluation based on my attributes but how can they evaluate my fighting ability ?.

Before i tell you anything else i must warn you that your current fighting ability aren't eligible for you to be able to get a good rank and you might even die in the next test so i will ask you, after hearing all of this do you still intend to proceed with the registration .

I didn't want to be summoned here but here i was , i didn't want to be a hero but the title was being forced on me, i certainly didn't want to get separated from Hana , and way before all of this happening i didn't want my parents to die and leave me by myself fighting to survive the hooligans bullying, the greed of my so-called relatives that forced me again to work part time to be able to get a glimpse of enjoyment that others my age have already got tired of .

For three years my sole purpose was to survive and survive and i kept on surviving believing that there must be light at the end of the tunnel and that i will soon be able to turn all of my situations around for the better , but ironically my whole situation really turned around completely turning my life around with it and just when i found a dream for myself i again was forced into a corner and being depraved of my privileges by the same person that said that he would help me i guess he was being sarcastic because his way of helping made the difficult situation i'm in even more difficult .

But weird enough i wasn't that angry about him doing this if anything i was just puzzled to why was he doing these things did he fall for Hana and he just want me out of the picture haha but i'm already out of the whole kingdom picture haha…ha…h...a no more .

I'm no more trying to survive i will be aiming to overcome from now on no matter how difficult or how many hurdles are going to be in my way i will overcome them all , if the will of this world was refraining from giving me what i deserve after i do my best then it better hide somewhere i can't reach or else it will get the same treatment as those hooligans .

Look at me so weak yet want to teach this World's Will a lesson so pathetic right, WRONG not everything is about winning or losing sometimes it's better to stand straight behind whatever and whoever you want to support not giving any mind to those who are going to stand in your way or those who doubts your ability to achieve what you want from today onwards a new me is arriving to this new world .

I don't know when did i close my eyes but they are opened now and all that hopelessness that i felt was swept away as if it never existed in the first place and instead i began to feel waves of confidence from unknown source washing over me again and again and again the heaviness in my chest that i felt from the building and those strongmen that are gathered here and who were releasing their auras knowingly and unknowingly was now non-existent to me .

Absolutely ms.Tina go ahead, and i gave her my most dazzling smile that left her stunned for a few seconds why did i do that the right question would be why not !!! .

She then took my ID card again and used Appraisal or something similar on it and gave me a blank paper and some ink and told me to put some ink on my thumb and use my inked thumb to stamp the paper .

I did so and my status window appeared on the blank paper in front of me but there were some expected my status window which now went like this :

Job : undetermined !!

Stamina : 14 .

She gasped at how weak my attributes were but she regained her composure quickly as she handed me the ID card and mentioned me and Regard to follow her while walking Regard nudged me in the shoulder and said don't you want to know what's your next test going to be ?.

Why ask about something that i will be able to see with my own eyes in a bit , i told him and smiled .

You really did change kid for the better or worse i guess we will see in a bit right ? .

We both looked at each other and laughed leaving the bewildered Tina to lead the way .

We arrived at a spacious room that had many weapons stands and a few training dummies with each one of them had a mark above the place it was in the mark was an alphabetic letter from S then to A then all the way to the letter H and the room itself was crowded with a lot of Adventurers , some were training with different weapons and some were attacking the training dummies which looked quite resilient to the attacks and even if they broke or got damaged they were being replaced instantly .

Now for your fighting capabilities evaluation and final test , you will need to attack one of those training dummies while an examiner will be supervising you to make sure that you are using your own power and not trying to cheat in the test in anyway .

Okey, who would be my examiner ?.

Most of the time any high ranking Adventurer can act as an examiner so the examiner should be somewhere here .

Let me check for you guys who is the acting examiner for today she then proceed to ask some of the guards in the room and came back with a difficult to describe expression on her face .

You both won't like what i'm going to tell especially you Ryuu the examiner for today is.... .

Mr.Bling : oh if it isn't the drunkard who didn't let me finish my words before .

Regard looked at Tina and i saw that she was lowering her head trying to avert his gaze and understand that something had happened and it was something bad .

Mr.Bling : oh is that the guy that i'm here to assess he doesn't look like anything remarkable and his attributes hahaha what is with those worthless attributes of him...oh, so he really is the former hero that the guild leader was talking about no wonder he had to give up on his position as a hero with an attributes like these he can't even muster up the courage to fight .

You, you.... , Regard was speechless but he was still trying to come up with words to defend me when i patted him on the shoulder and just shook my head as if saying it wasn't worth it .

Now that i took a closer look at him not only his voice tone racked of arrogance but his facial features and his luxurious attire he was wearing some medieval noble clothes like the one that used to wear in Europe and had a sword strapped to his trouser belt he looked like a narrow-minded person through and through and the best way to deal with those guys back in my old world was just to completely ignore them but we weren't in my old world anymore .

Here if you show even an ounce of weakness you are in for a lot of suffering and i wasn't be suffering no more so i steadied myself and remembered what we were here for and looked him in the eyes without giving his taunts or cheap comments to affect me and said :

Mr,Bling that was your name right ?.

Mr.Bling : what do you want to beg me so that i allow you to do the test .

Beg !? , i don't believe i need to do so right Ms.Tina ?! .

Yes, mr Ryuu had already paid the fee required for his registration so the acting examiner whether he like it or not must allow him to do the test .

You heard it right mr.Bling , i told him i a playful tone and i can tell that this angered him as he tried to pressure me with his aura which wasn't working at all as i kept standing where i was with a calm smile .

Mr.Bling : so what , your rank is still up to me to decide in the end , now go ahead and choose your training dummy .

That threat can intimidate others but not me i'm here registering just because it was an obligation to do so i'm leaving this damn kingdom soon anyway and i'm here to just register and be done with it i have no intention to try to rank up , i was heading to the training dummy under the letter D but was stopped by Regard i looked at him questionably and he began to say :

Attack the training dummy under the letter H first , if you are able to hit your target then you can continue going up all the way or til you aren't able to damage the training dummy anymore and the letter you are going to stop at is going to tell us about your final ranking .

So i'm going to attack every training dummy until i can't and that should be able to tell you about my fighting capabilities .

Yeah, pretty much so you can borrow weapons any weapon you like from the weapons stands here and just do your best to damage your target .

I nod and went to one of the weapons stand the one i chose was mostly filled with hanged swords i was able to pull one up with some difficulty it was a long sword with a thin blade that looked like a rapier but the handle was broad the difficulty was mostly because it was quite heavy for me but all that vanished when i held the sword in my hand i felt its weight was now perfect for me to handle , weird my only knowledge on how to hold a sword stem from the kendo training i used to do when my parents was alive but now i felt like i have full control over the sword in my hand could it be my imagination .

I began to walk towards my first target with ease and thrusted the sword towards the bullseye mark in the middle of the training dummy and a blue barrier appeared just before i pierce through my target but was broken as quickly as it appeared and i pierced the first training dummy and went to the next target Letter G and did nothing more than what i did before but this time my sword struggled against the barrier for a second or two before it pierced through this one too .

Stop wasting my time and choose your final target already .

I went for the target under the letter E but this time i ran towards the target to gain enough momentum for my next thrust i'm not sure if i'm imagining things but my agility was slightly increased as i was able to cover the distance that i ran in a shorter time than i expected and used the momentum of my speed to thrust in the target in front of me a barrier appeared trying to stop my thrust but it shattered directly and the target was pierced successfully .

I was talking my breath while trying to regain some of my stamina as after that run i felt as if i used all the stamina points that i had so i guess the D rank will be difficult to get .

I told you before to not waste our time hurry and attack the next target .

Why was he so impatient i'm taking a breath .

Hurry up or i will just declare your result as it is ? .

I took a long breath and again took some distance away from the target but more shorter than the previous time as my stamina won't be able to support another dash like that one i fixed my stance and focused on the target ahead of me and dashed at the target while readying my self to attack and i felt that my strength was decreasing so i gritted my teeth and forced my body forward and thrusted towards the barrier that appeared and a clash between my attack and its defense happened with sparks appearing from our clash the barrier began to crack and a few seconds later it shattered and my thrust continued towards the center of the target but another barrier appeared and the moment we clashed i was thrown over with the sword flying out of my hand and headed in a straight line towards That Bling but he was able to parry it easily .

He looked at me in anger and i only shrugged my shoulders as it was really not my intention to do that i was going to apologize but i began to collapse on the ground i can already tell that my stamina attribute value is low .

I guess that's have marked the end of the test here take this and head to entrance hall we will be declaring your rank in a few minutes .

She handed me a bottle with a green liquid inside of it i used appraisal and the bottle was a Small Stamina Recovery Potion : able to recover 1 points of stamina per second for a duration of 30 seconds , ingredients : unknown .

I thanked her and emptied the bottle directly in my mouth its taste was terrible but luckily the taste wasn't lasting , 10 seconds later i was good as new and began walking with a still stunned Regard beside me to head back to the grand entrance hall waiting for my evaluation results .
