I wasn't interested in neither the short nor the greatsword that much but i checked both of their information anyway, let's see if we can upgrade appraisal .

The sword looked more like a dagger than an actual sword , the green hilt was short and its black blade was wide , its design was quite cool but shortswords just weren't to my liking, so i decided to check the greatsword next .

Definitely not picking that one why, it was taller than me that was the first reason that came to my mind when i first saw it and the 50 strength points which were required to be able to use it came to confirm my choice, the greatsword was gleaming with a brilliant crimson hue that catches the light, Its broad, polished blade tapers to a razor-sharp tip, adorned with intricate bear motifs accented by golden inlays .
the sturdy hilt was wrapped in dark leather for a secure grip, featuring a cross-guard shaped like outstretched bear claws. The pommel showcases a detailed bear's head, with gemstone eyes that glimmer menacingly , i kept looking at it and sighed it looked quite magical but it's not practical for the current me to bought something like that , now to the last sword he said it was a long sword but i'm 100 percent certain that what was in front of me was a sheathed Katana , i used appraisal hurriedly and got something akin to telepathic massage for the first time it said : Notice : Your Active Skill Appraisal Had levelled up .
Then the weapon informations began to appear in front of me .

Yep, i'm taking this one Frosted Edge what a cool name the katana design was beautiful , The Frosted Edge was a sleek katana, measuring about 3.5 feet in length, Its blade featured a subtle bluish tint, reminiscent of ice, and boasted a polished surface that glimmered softly in the ligh,the blade's slight curve allowed for swift, precise slashes, beautiful yet practical and that wasn't all, the blade was adorned with simple, elegant engravings that evoke the beauty of frost patterns, giving it a unique charm without excessive embellishment .
As for its hilt The hilt was wrapped in dark blue cotton for a secure grip, with a modest cross-guard designed for practicality. The pommel was simple, providing a balanced weight that aided in maneuverability .
No doubt about it i think this is the weapon which i will be using to overcome whatever obstacles that will come my way from now on .

I nod and the brown fur leather armor really looked quite cool and sturdy too but i was still more interested in the other set of armor, it was the gleaming black Mutated Scaled Centipede which was currently engrossed in some kind of dark smoke .
I won't recommend you to even try that one , said Rickan noticing that i was looking with interest at the gleaming set of armor .
Why is there some problem with it ?.
The armor is of a Rare Rank but still can't be sold because the armor is still infested with the resentment from the carcass of the C Rank mutated monster the poisonous Scaled Centipede which was killed to make this set of armor just a few minutes after it had raised its Rank , making it difficult to handle for the novice Adventurers and not worth the trouble for the high ranking Adventurers .
What does infested by resentment mean exactly ?.
You can see the dark smoke that is coming from it right , that's that creature resentment as for what does it mean in humans terms it would be called a Cursed armor, and i don't blame those who believed it to be though , my grandpa said that this creature's resentment was so strong that it dyed the whole set of armor black just a seconds after it was made , making this armor much stronger but also more difficult to handle , you see this is the only set of armor currently in our workshop that requires its user to be not only powerful but also strong willed too , Or He Will Be Swallowed By The Armor .
I really don't recommend that you choose that one .

It was strong than the other set that's for sure but also had a dark edge , i now fully understood why Rickan warned me about its ability to swallow its user with that much decrease in the agility , its user if weak-willed will be a sitting duck in front of the enemies attack .
But its attributes coupled with the Frosted Edge would be an unstoppable combo and I'm quite certain to be able to ignore its whispers with my will attribute points at 30 .

I know about the boost of the Novice Swordsmanship skill ,but that will only increase my strength to 16 and how did my agility become 22 it should be 18 at most what is going on with that 30 points in strength and why did my stamina and constitution also increased, could it be related to the sword .
