"What exactly do you want from me?" Faelyn chokes out in despair, confusion in her glassy gaze as she stares warily at Amendiel's massive form which is giving off a sudden different aura that she cannot distinguish.

Amendiel's piercing gaze consumes all of Faelyn, and at this moment, he feels no hate toward his mate, just a burning need that threatens to shatter him from within.

Without warning, he hauls Faelyn into his strong arms and crushes her possessively to his chest. Faelyn gasps when Amendiel grabs a fistful of her red strands and angles her head.

Amendiel's gaze slants to Faelyn's lips which have swelled from her clenching onto them too tightly. A low sound of need hisses from Amendiel just before he gives Faelyn a hungry kiss.

A kiss that knocks both their breath away.

Faelyn stiffens, her eyes wide in surprise. This isn't the first time that Amendiel has kissed her, yet it feels so… different.
