Huge Upgrade

After a day had passed, Luke had managed to draw a sketch of a settlement where families could live separately but close to each other.

The village was large, really large. In fact, it would not be wrong to say that it was dozens of times larger than Luke had imagined. This clearly explained why there were no signs of the northern duchy anywhere in the area.

Once the sketch was complete, it was time to move on to the construction phase. The strange part was that he hadn't told Callum and Kevin to gather wood or do anything else. The only thing they had to do was clear the trees around them.

After naming the first panel 'Profile' and the third panel 'Shop,' it was time to examine his gift.

After examining his gift all day, Luke realised that he could change the shape of the cabin he was going to build, and even its length and size.

However, every change caused material changes due to the possibilities of enlargement and reduction.

For this reason, Luke had loaded exactly one thousand gold coins into the third system panel, i.e., the shop. Now everything was completely ready.

After taking a deep breath, he tapped the 'Simple Cabin Placement' item in his inventory to set up the cabin he had brought to the desired size, and once again, the measurements and similar details appeared before his eyes.

Without Luke saying a word, the cabin suddenly appeared in a snow-free area, covering exactly 96 square metres.

Kevin and Callum couldn't believe their eyes. Both of them stared at what they saw in front of them, their eyes wide and their mouths completely open.

"Huh?" Kevin asked suddenly, but Luke had already moved on to another area and placed another cabin there.

The insides of the cabins were fully furnished and complete. This ability was a complete trick, but it was the most useful thing in this challenging area.

Despite having only said it two or three times in his life, Kevin couldn't help but utter, 'The Emperor made a huge mistake,' after a long time.

Luke had already managed to completely change their perception of him.

"Your Majesty…" Callum had asked, the middle-aged man's face lighting up with a broad smile.

Luke, however, had placed his hands on his hips as if everything were finished and said, "Well, what are you waiting for? Help the villagers so they can settle into their homes."

Immediately after that, Luke yawned. He wasn't tired, but he seemed to be experiencing a mental breakdown. Perhaps he still felt strange because the information about the cabin construction had been forced into his mind.

Still, he chose not to stay here. He was truly more alive than he had been in the past month. He turned his head directly towards his next goal.

Last night, before getting into the horse-drawn carriage and falling asleep, he saw something.

There was writing on the wall Kevin had created:

'Upgrade.'

Luke began walking quickly towards the wall and soon saw that Kevin was following him.

When he reached the wall, he was struck by its grandeur—a massive wall made of hardened earth, perhaps five metres thick and twenty metres long, despite being made of earth.

Nevertheless, the moment he touched the wall, he saw dozens, perhaps two hundred, or even more than three hundred shapes before his eyes, and each one began to imprint itself on his mind.

Luke stumbled for a moment, as if he had tripped, and when Kevin quickly caught him, he pulled himself together and said, 'I'm fine, Kevin.'

Immediately afterwards, he saw a design in which the wall was covered with a material that looked like stone but was of higher quality on both the inside and outside.

As soon as he saw this, he immediately said, 'Upgrade.'

As soon as he said that, the earthen wall collapsed forward onto the snowy terrain, leaving Kevin and Luke stunned, while the wall made of the same material Luke had just seen appeared, matching the length and thickness of the earthen wall Kevin had built.

Luke looked at his hand again. No matter how much he thanked the Goddess of the Night for this gift, it would never be enough.

He wondered how much money he had spent, so he opened the third system panel by saying, 'Shop.'

When he looked at the balance section in the top right corner, he saw that he had nearly 950 gold left.

Upon realising this, he smiled and realised that this wall, which had completely surrounded an area of perhaps a kilometre, had cost him less than fifty gold.

He was very curious about how much more he could do with this gift.

When he turned directly to Kevin behind him, he said, 'It's time for us to build a house, Kevin.'

When Kevin looked at Luke with great surprise, Luke was staring at the newly opened building plan on the third system panel.

What Luke saw in front of him was a small mansion. It was indeed a mansion filled with high-quality materials and furnishings.

And this mansion was only... 100 gold pieces.

It was something no one in this capital city could have imagined.
