The next morning, the gentle murmur of the wind seemed intent on lulling Angel back to sleep. He lay comfortably tangled in the messy sheets of his bed, peacefully dreaming. However, that moment of peace was abruptly shattered by an annoying noise: someone was knocking insistently at his apartment door.
"Ugh..." Angel groaned, tossing under the covers. "Who the hell is knocking on my door this early?" he grumbled, stumbling out of bed, his hair messy and eyes still half-closed from sleep.
The omega walked barefoot through the apartment, dragging his feet with irritation. When he yanked the door open, he immediately scowled.
"I knew it..." he muttered with annoyance. "It was you."
On the other side, Killian responded with a calm, almost mocking smile.
"What are you doing here?" Angel snapped, clearly irritated.
"I told you yesterday," Killian replied calmly.
"And I told you I wasn't going anywhere with you," Angel reminded him, crossing his arms.
Killian's expression changed in an instant. His gaze turned so cold that a chill ran down the omega's spine.
"Are you coming or not, omega?" he asked in a frigid, authoritative tone.
Angel took a step back, intimidated by the alpha's intense presence.
"F-fine, I'll go..." he yielded quickly. "But... I'm hungry," he added, trying to change the subject.
He then gave a sarcastic smile, clearly trying to irritate him.
"I'll need to shower, eat breakfast, clean my room... and then maybe, I'll go with you."
But Killian didn't seem annoyed. On the contrary, he stepped closer to him, shrinking the distance between their bodies. The alpha's warm breath brushed against the omega's ear, making him visibly shiver.
"Don't worry... I can wait as long as you want," he whispered softly.
'His breath... it's tickling me!' Angel thought, feeling his face suddenly heat up. His cheeks flushed lightly.
"F-fine... then wait an eternity for me," the omega shouted, completely red, before running off to his room.
Killian, amused, watched him leave.
"If that's what you want, I will," he said as he crossed the threshold and calmly sat on the couch.
.
.
.
Determined to make him tired of waiting, Angel stayed in the shower for over two hours. But when he came out, the first thing he noticed was the silence. Curiously, he peeked from his room. To his surprise, Killian was still there, calmly sitting and looking at his phone like nothing had happened.
'He's still here!' Angel thought, stunned.
Killian, noticing the furtive glance, looked up and gave him a sly smile.
"You don't have to look at me like that, omega," he said quietly.
"Tsk..." Angel huffed, slamming his door shut again.
Seconds later, he heard soft knocks.
"What is it? I'm not opening the door!" he shouted in annoyance.
"You don't have to," Killian replied from the other side. "I left a shopping bag on your bed. Put that on and come out."
Angel looked at the bag, which indeed was on his bed. He approached it cautiously and opened it.
'He bought this for me?' he thought, surprised.
The clothes were his size, with a style that was both cute and daring. He touched the garments carefully.
'Actually... this is kind of nice,' he murmured to himself, his face flushing again.
He shook his head vigorously.
'W-why am I blushing? Calm down, Angel!' he told himself, gently patting his cheeks.
.....
Minutes later, Angel was dressed, styled, and ready. He stepped out of his room confidently.
"I'm ready," he said, looking at Killian.
When the alpha looked up, his reaction was immediate. He froze, staring at him from head to toe.
Angel wore a white button-down shirt, slightly fitted to show part of his collarbone and subtly outline his figure. The sleeves were rolled up to his elbows, giving a casual yet elegant look. He paired it with fitted black dress pants, secured with a thin belt, and a dark watch decorated his left wrist. A small silver pendant hung over his chest, faintly glinting under the warm light.
Not knowing why, Angel felt a little uncomfortable.
"What is it?" he asked, confused. "Why are you looking at me like that?"
"You look really cute..." Killian answered, dazed, not realizing what he said.
Angel blushed instantly. Killian, noticing his slip, coughed awkwardly.
"Ahem... Let's go," he said, grabbing his hand without warning and dragging him out of the apartment.
They both got into the car. Angel, still nervous, looked out the window.
"Where are we going?" he asked, still held by the alpha.
"You haven't eaten, have you?" Killian replied, glancing at him. "We're getting breakfast first."
'He noticed?' Angel thought, touched by the gesture.
.
.
After a few minutes, they arrived at a café and ordered a light breakfast. Angel still didn't know the real destination but was growing curious. An hour later, after a long drive, Killian stopped the car.
They both got out, and when Angel looked ahead, his eyes lit up like a child's.
"An amusement park?" he said, amazed. "It's been ages since I came to one! Let's go!"
Without waiting for an answer, he grabbed Killian's hand and dragged him toward the entrance, laughing.
"I want to enjoy my day."
Killian smiled softly and let himself be led.
.
.
.
They spent the entire day at the park. Angel couldn't remember the last time he'd had so much fun. With his constant work at the hospital, stress was always present. But this day was different: with games, laughter, and shared moments, he felt free.
Hours later, Angel collapsed onto a bench, exhausted but happy.
"This trip was fun," he said with a big smile. "But now I'm tired."
"Want to eat something?" Killian asked.
"Mm... chocolate and strawberry ice cream," Angel replied without hesitation.
"Alright, wait here," the alpha said, walking off.
Angel watched him go, then sighed softly.
'I had fun today thanks to him... He can be annoying, but he's also nice. Though... this kind of feels like a date,' he thought, smiling unknowingly.
A short while later, Killian returned with two ice creams.
"Here you go," he said, handing one over.
"You got one for yourself too?" Angel asked. "Do you like sweet things?"
"Yeah..." Killian admitted, a bit awkwardly. 'He's going to laugh at me like everyone else,' he thought with a sigh.
But Angel said nothing. He just smiled.
"I like sweet things too," he confessed.
That smile disarmed him. Killian stared at him.
'H-his smile is so beautiful,' he thought, heart pounding.
.
.
.
When night fell, the park lit up with thousands of lights. Angel, eyes sparkling with excitement, pointed to a ride.
"Look, the star wheel! Let's ride it," he said enthusiastically, dragging Killian again.
"Alright," the alpha said, smiling.
They rode the attraction. From the top, Angel admired the city lights.
"The night view is incredible," he said, eyes glowing.
Killian didn't respond. He was watching him intently.
"Hey," Angel said, noticing the gaze.
"I have a name, you know," Killian replied with a smirk.
Angel's eyes widened, realizing he hadn't used it all day.
"So... should I call you Killian?" he asked nervously.
"Yes," the alpha replied.
"Alright, Killian," Angel said, smiling sweetly.
Killian's heart pounded harder, though he managed to stay composed.
As they got off, the park was packed. Without thinking, Killian grabbed the omega's hand and intertwined their fingers.
"There are a lot of people now. We could get separated. So... let's hold hands."
Angel nodded silently, accepting the gesture.
However, while walking, Killian stopped abruptly.
'Why did he stop?' Angel thought, confused. 'And what is he looking at?'
He followed his gaze and saw a couple holding hands, eating cotton candy.
"L-let's go," Killian said quickly, turning and pulling him away.
Angel didn't understand but followed. Suddenly, a female voice stopped them.
"Killian?"
Killian froze. They both turned.
"What are you doing here?" the woman asked.
"M-Maria..." Killian murmured.
'Is that the novel's protagonist?' Angel thought, shocked.
A man appeared next to her, visibly angry.
"What are you doing here?!" he yelled at Killian.
"Ren, why are you shouting?" Maria asked.
"Why shouldn't I?" Ren looked at her, then back at Killian. "You were harassing her! She's with me now."
"You really think someone like you could be with her? You're a disgrace."
Killian gripped Angel's hand tightly. The omega sensed his tension and grew worried.
"Please stop, Ren..." Maria pleaded softly. "You don't have to fight over me..."
"He still loves you, doesn't he?" Ren whispered, caressing her cheek. "That's why he followed you."
'Ugh, I can't take this anymore!' Angel thought, irritated, and stepped forward.
"How exactly does he love her?" he asked coldly.
"Who are you, kid?" Ren asked angrily.
"His boyfriend, omega, and owner," Angel said proudly, pointing at Killian.
The alpha's eyes widened in shock. Maria was speechless.
"Liar!" Ren shouted. "That bastard's a manipulator. Maybe he's using you!"
"Why would he do that?"
"Why not?"
"Because he loves me."
Killian was stunned again, while Ren laughed mockingly.
"Ha! And you expect me to believe that?"
Angel frowned, then without another word, grabbed Killian by the collar and pulled him in for a hard kiss. The alpha stood still for a second in shock, then quickly kissed back, holding his chin.
Maria and Ren were speechless, unable to believe what they saw.
Killian got carried away, turning the kiss more passionate, invading his mouth with his tongue. Angel, startled and shocked by the sudden invasion, pulled back, panting, a thread of saliva still connecting them.
"D-do you need more proof?" he said firmly, voice trembling slightly as he stared at the couple.
Ren and Maria had no words.
"Now get lost. You're ruining our date," he said coldly.
Without another word, Angel grabbed Killian's hand and walked away without looking back. The alpha followed obediently, his cheeks visibly flushed.
