Chapter 32: The Journey to the West Team

"This is the blessed land of Mount Lingtai, Cave of the Slanting Moon and Three Stars. Its master is Patriarch Bodhi, who has many disciples under him."

Naruto's introduction was not yet finished.

"Naruto!"

A voice came from the sky. The three looked up and saw a slender middle-aged man flying gracefully, like an immortal.

"Sensei's here."

Naruto led the two to greet him.

This manner of arrival deeply shocked young Sasuke and Sakura.

No matter which world, the ability to fly was a sign of great power.

The newcomer landed lightly.

"Hello, Sensei."

Naruto led the greeting, and the other two small figures followed with sparse greetings.

"I am unworthy of the title 'Sensei.'"

From the pause, it could be heard that the person was none other than Shen Gongbao.

This was a clone created by Naruto, sent to teach in his place. How exactly he taught was up to Teacher Bao.

Naruto introduced him to the two. "This is Shen Gongbao, Teacher Bao."

"Hello, Teacher Bao." x2

"So, you two are the ones who want to learn ninjutsu from me?"

Taking advantage of the two not paying attention, Naruto squinted at him, speechless.

It's so similar, this clone is too similar, even the stuttering is precisely simulated.

Sasuke and Sakura were both quite excited, nodding quickly.

"Very good. Since Naruto introduced you, I'll take you on." Shen Gongbao struck a starting pose. "Now, attack me with all your might."

Sasuke and Sakura had both seen this situation before, having just finished a test that morning, so they weren't surprised.

"Watch out, Teacher Bao!"

Sasuke shouted. He also wanted to test the strength of this flying Teacher Bao. How did he compare to Kakashi-sensei?

His hand habitually went to his waist, and Sasuke realized he actually had shuriken.

He quickly pulled out a few and threw them accurately.

"Fire Style: Great Fireball!"

Since he wasn't short on chakra, he didn't care about consumption control and unleashed his full power.

Unfortunately.

Whether it was the shuriken, the Great Fireball, or the subsequent few Fire Style jutsu, all were batted away by Teacher Bao with a single palm strike.

Even Sasuke himself, who rushed forward intending to engage in close combat, was simply slapped away after a couple of exchanges to test the waters, landing in the lake.

Then Sakura followed close behind, falling into the lake as well.

After the two climbed out of the lake, soaked, Shen Gongbao waved his hand again, and they instantly became dry.

As Sasuke and Sakura were marveling at Teacher Bao's power and warmth, a barrage of reprimands rained down on them.

"You've accomplished nothing, nothing! You two are already 12 years old, yet your chakra control is still a complete mess!" After the test, Shen Gongbao began to criticize them severely.

Teacher Bao was really strict.

Naruto felt nervous for them.

Forget it, none of my business.

Naruto directly ran off to play with Nine-Tails.

Here, the two continued their training. First, they had to master chakra control, and then there were specialized tests and career planning.

Four hours later.

Sasuke and Sakura's vision went black, and they returned to reality.

Teacher Bao only taught for two hours before leaving; they spent the remaining time training themselves.

Suddenly returning, they hadn't quite adjusted.

"Why are we back?"

Sasuke's voice was a bit urgent.

He had just discovered such a great place and was planning to train all night. Why had they returned?

"I'm going to sleep."

Naruto yawned, rejecting Sasuke's request to train until dawn.

"Can we still go train with Teacher Bao in the future?"

Hearing this, Naruto gave an affirmative answer. "Of course, but let's be clear first, I'm the head disciple. As for you, Sasuke..."

He pointed at Sasuke, emphasizing, "Second junior brother! And Sakura, third junior brother, no, third junior sister."

Sakura: You said 'junior brother' just now, didn't you?

Her dark personality almost wanted to use the Mystical Palm Technique she had just learned to knock some sense into Naruto's head.

Naruto, however, looked at Sakura with surprise.

He never expected her to have a talent for chakra control.

Naruto naturally possessed this talent too, and he knew very well that there were many ways to strengthen it:

Medical ninjutsu, anti-genjutsu, and his self-created Mystical Palm Technique.

Sakura's low chakra reserves were a disadvantage, but if she could acquire ninjutsu that allowed her to store chakra for later use, her potential power ceiling wouldn't be low either.

"Hey, are you two agreeing or not?" Naruto asked with a mischievous grin.

He could already imagine the scene: the three of them calling each other "Senior Disciple," "Second Junior Brother," and "Third Junior Sister."

The image was so beautiful, Naruto almost laughed out loud.

Their team would be called The Journey to the West Team.

Alright, I've got an idea for the next Hokage Rock carving!

Naruto's smile made the two feel something was off. They exchanged glances and firmly said, "We disagree."

"Fine," Naruto sighed in disappointment.

Was it too obvious? I'll be more careful next time.

His objective wasn't achieved, but he wasn't a bad person. He wouldn't deny them the chance to train just because they disagreed.

"Then let's leave it at that. Tomorrow will still be four hours, at my place."

The fun was over, and Naruto, losing interest, began to shoo them away. "If there's nothing else, you two can go. I need to sleep."

"Naruto, how long have you been training in the Immortal World?"

Immortal World?

Is that what Sasuke called that place?

After thinking about it, Naruto decided not to change the name. "Since I started school at six, so about six years."

"That long? Then when you were at school, you were still..."

As he spoke, for some reason, Sasuke suddenly thought of the "Naruto vs. Seven" incident in first grade.

"My master said not to be too competitive, otherwise I wouldn't have waited until graduation to reveal my power."

Sasuke nodded. Counting it out, Naruto had trained for six years.

Then, if he worked hard, he should be able to catch up in three years.

Sasuke asked his final question, "Will you still go in to train tonight?"

"Of course."

Naruto replied matter-of-factly, "I train in there while I sleep. Otherwise, how do you think I got my strength?"

Sasuke: You train while you sleep at night? I want to do that too!

Seeing this, Sasuke looked at Naruto with a mix of eagerness and shyness, saying, "Naruto, I—I want..."

"No, you don't!"

His words were cut off by Naruto immediately.

This guy really has the nerve to ask.

I haven't even slept with a woman yet, and you expect me to sleep with a smelly guy like you?

Ugly rejection.

Our relationship isn't that close.

"Go on, get out of here, both of you. I'm going to take off my clothes. You'll get stye if you watch me." Naruto started pushing them out.

Finally, looking at the empty room, Naruto found himself surprisingly accustomed to it.

He sensed his surroundings. The two had gone far, and the surveillance was gone too.

Naruto created a shadow clone.

He told the shadow clone to sleep. The shadow clone was quite happy just hearing "sleep" and promptly went to bed.

In a flash, Naruto vanished with a Flying Thunder God.

In the past few days, Old Godmother Fast Food had closed down.

This made many children in the village lose their smiles, but there was no helping it. Naruto needed a clone to work hard outside.

Mainly to find him some materials to make clones.

These materials, without a doubt, were living, breathing people.

Of course, they definitely weren't good people, otherwise, Naruto wouldn't have chosen them as material for his clones.

Just now, Naruto received a notification: the materials had been found.
