"He's really going for it!"

Roger chuckled at the sight.

CP0's identity was no simple matter; even without directly clashing with them, he fully understood the trouble they posed.

As a direct World Government intelligence agency, not only was killing them out of the question, but even a hint of hostility would brand one as an "enemy of the government."

Thus, CP0 missions rarely resulted in casualties, especially for those in white suits who held official ranks within the department.

Alucard lunged forward, and even after the Rankyaku sliced his body in half, he maintained his combat posture. Compared to the Shigan, Alucard's firing speed was a notch faster.

Jackal fired! A real bullet clashing with a Shigan!

The two collided, locked in a stalemate for about half a second, before Alucard's Jackal overpowered his opponent, reflecting the force back. Because the Shigan's power veered off its trajectory, the bullet that should have struck the heart instead hit the agent's lung.

"Gah!"

Alucard shrieked. Since Jackal couldn't fire continuously, he switched to Casull.

The CP0 agent's body was riddled with bullets in an instant. At that very moment, the Chief Officer's hand-blade pierced Alucard's heart from behind.

"He got him!" Roger's tone tightened.

"Is he dead...?"

Shanks was about to confirm Alucard's demise, but as he stood up to get a closer look, he saw Alucard wearing a joyful smile even with his heart pierced. He was reduced to only an upper body, his entire heart impaled by the CP0 Chief Officer's hand-blade from behind.

At this, the Chief Officer stated, "At the cost of one life, mission accomplished... This is a significant casualty that CP0 hasn't experienced in a long time."

Speaking, he withdrew his hand-blade from Alucard's heart. The next moment, he grabbed one of Alucard's arms and said coldly, "A freak whose body is half gone yet still breathes. Put him in a nutrient solution temporarily. I'll try to get him to Marine Headquarters alive to report to Dr. Vegapunk and the government."

"Whoa, whoa, this time he's really finished, right, Captain?" Shanks couldn't possibly believe Alucard was still alive this time.

His body was cut in half, and his heart, his biggest weakness, was completely pierced. No matter how strong his regeneration, there was no way he could survive that, right?

Roger remained silent. Through his Observation Haki, he too could confirm that Alucard had no breath left. But why, why did he still wear such a joyful, happy smile even after dying? Or rather, was he not dead at all?!

At that very instant, Alucard suddenly raised his gun and fired a shot directly at the Chief Officer's forehead, who was still holding his arm.

This was the Chief Officer's last thought before the bullet struck his brow.

The blood from the Chief Officer's wounds, pierced by Alucard's hands, coalesced into slender tendrils of blood that completely enveloped the CP0 agent's entire body. After he let out a series of agonizing screams, his body, wrapped in blood tendrils, was entirely absorbed into Alucard's own.

"Tastes awful!" Alucard muttered in disgust, then chuckled again. "But the effect is good!"

He was completely regenerated!

Looking at the last remaining CP0 agent, the one over six meters tall, Alucard twisted his neck, a smile curving his lips. "Alright, let's continue! The last CP0!"

'What kind of monster is this?!'

Though CP0 had always dealt with lawless freaks, a monster like this shouldn't even exist in this world!

His head blown off! His body severed! His heart crushed!

None of these could kill him.

Or perhaps he died and was revived?

None of that mattered. The crucial point was that he was now completely regenerated, as if nothing had happened!

Even the well-seasoned CP0 agent couldn't help but take a step back.

"What's wrong? Just because you've lost two comrades, you're already thinking of retreating?" Alucard slowly advanced, and with every step he took, the agent instinctively recoiled.

Suddenly, the CP0 agent felt his feet being grabbed. He looked down to see that shadow hands had somehow seized both his feet. At that exact moment, one of Alucard's shots struck the side of his face, shattering his mask.

THUD!

A powerful punch landed squarely on his thigh.

With a six-meter-tall body, Alucard could only reach this high without jumping.

The CP0 agent stumbled, dropping to one knee. Alucard grabbed his face, and with immense force, squeezed until blood oozed out, continuously spurting. "At this point, if you beg for mercy, I'll make you wish you were dead!"
