Friend in need

Looking up I saw a familiar figure staring at me but she was lost in thought, her eyes held no emotion she kept looking straight ahead like if I was see through. I picked up a cupcake and covered it with vanilla frosting her favorite. "Penny for your thoughts" I said when I got to her but she kept staring at me without blinking so I raised my hand to her face and snapped my fingers "earth to Sara" she looked up but didn't say a word then she suddenly burst into tears it. I was shocked but I recovered quickly and place my hand around her waist quickly pulling her into my arms she cried for a full half an hour before she calmed down.

I stared deep into her eyes but all I could see was sadness, it hurts so much to see her sad and weak, the Sara I knew was a strong and determined young lady you could practically see fire in her eyes but now I couldn't see anything. Although I haven't known her for long I could tell my body reacts differently when I'm with her her, all my Life I've actually came to hate women, my stepmom and her daughter made me dislike em all I actually thought I was going to detest all women for life but Sara changed my perspective. She made me smile, laugh and cry not for sorrow but from joy I felt all the happiness I haven't felt in a long time, but looking into her eyes right now I could tell what she needed the most at this moment. I placed my arm around her waist and pulled her closer to me once more but this time we didn't hug I just pulled her along with me to my stall to get her another cupcake cuz the one I made before was dropped on the floor when I hugged her. I quickly gave it to her to eat while I packed up, soon I finished and called a cab to pick it up.

I took her by the hand and led her away from the park. Soon she pointed at a culinary competition poster I understood her even when she didn't say anything I led her to the sign board and signed up for it.

We kept moving till we arrived at an arcade, she looked at me in confusion before smiling. I could feel my heart race and my body heaten by her smile. My body was no longer mine at this moment time seemed to pause, she dragged me to a game machine and said this was my friend favorite game, we played it all the time when I was little...

She loaded the game and Ritchie took the game console and began playing.

Soon it was nightfall, little did they know that someone already took pictures of their whole day activities.
