I just started reading “Umbrella Academy: Time’s Orphan”, especially Chapter 1, “The One Outside the Clock.” That moment when Zero, the forgotten sibling, stands in the observatory, watching the clouds swirl unnaturally above, gave me chills. The way you describe his perception of time slipping past him like water between fingers immediately immerses the reader into his unique existence. Imagine a scene where Zero, standing on the roof as lightning lights the sky, raises his hand and curls his fingers. For a split second, time freezes, and raindrops hang in the air like glittering beads of glass. The contrast between the stillness of time and the chaos of his surroundings would be striking, emphasizing his isolation and power.
