Chapter 45: Krillin—Teach Me How to Become a Super Saiyan!

Because Jack had promised that whenever a new mission appeared, he would be the first to notify everyone in the group, the members no longer had to anxiously monitor the mission list or constantly stare at the screen.

This assurance allowed them to focus entirely on their training without distraction.

Following Jack's directive, Beerus and Whis brought Son Goku, Vegeta, and Krillin to Beerus's planet for high-level training and guidance.

As for Piccolo and the others, they knew their current potential wasn't sufficient to justify joining Beerus and Whis for advanced training. They accepted their limitations and chose to remain on Earth, determined to improve until the day they could also qualify for such a prestigious opportunity.

All of them hoped that one day, through a change in their bloodline or sheer dedication, they could unlock greater potential and train under the God of Destruction himself.

---

Krillin stepped onto the strange new world and looked around in awe.

"So this is your planet, Lord Beerus? It's... a little different than I expected," Krillin said, surprised.

He had imagined something darker, gloomier—a desolate and ominous place befitting a God of Destruction. After all, the title conjured images of ruined wastelands and fearsome energy.

But what he saw was quite the opposite. The landscape was breathtaking—lush greenery, clear skies, fragrant flowers, and a calm, serene atmosphere. It felt more like a paradise than a battlefield.

---

Beerus raised an eyebrow. "Then tell me, what did you imagine my planet looked like?"

---

Krillin gulped. "N-No… nothing really! It's exactly like this, of course!" he stammered.

Being under the gaze of the God of Destruction made him nervous. If Beerus didn't like his answer, would he destroy him on the spot?

Luckily, Beerus let it slide. He could guess what Krillin had been thinking but didn't push further.

---

"Since Lord Jack has assigned you to train with me," Beerus began, "then you must take your training seriously."

"I'll let Whis guide you. Train hard and become stronger. That way, when it's time to complete missions in the future, you won't embarrass yourselves—or me."

He cast a sharp glance at the three warriors: Goku, Vegeta, and Krillin.

This wasn't just training anymore—it was a personal responsibility handed down from Jack, and Beerus intended to take it seriously.

---

"Whis, I leave them to you."

---

Beerus then strolled over to a nearby reclining chair, plopped down with elegance, and sighed. Compared to him, Whis was far better suited to instructing others.

Whis turned to the trio and nodded.

---

"The strength levels of you three are vastly different," Whis said.

"Goku and Vegeta are relatively close in terms of power, but Krillin, your strength is significantly lower."

"Therefore, your training will be different from theirs."

---

Whis's words were not meant as an insult—just a matter-of-fact observation. Although Krillin had recently acquired Saiyan blood, his combat power still lagged far behind Goku and Vegeta.

Even in their base forms, the two veteran Saiyans had immense strength. Krillin, by comparison, was just starting to tap into his new potential.

Trying to force him into the same training regimen as Goku and Vegeta would be suicide, not training.

---

"By the way, Mr. Whis," Krillin suddenly said with hopeful eyes, "is there any chance you could teach me how to transform into a Super Saiyan when I'm not training?"

He spoke with determination—and a bit of desperation.

Ever since acquiring Saiyan blood, Krillin had been dreaming of becoming a Super Saiyan. Not just for the power boost, but also for how cool it looked.

Blond hair, golden aura, explosive energy—it was the dream of any warrior.

But so far, Krillin hadn't even managed to trigger the basic Super Saiyan form, and it gnawed at him. He didn't want to be left behind again.

---

"Hmph," Vegeta scoffed from the side. "If you had followed my advice back on Earth, you'd be a Super Saiyan by now."

---

Krillin shot him a look. "If your method was the only way, then I'd rather stay like this forever!"

"I'm sure there's more than one way to become a Super Saiyan!"

---

Whis stepped in to clarify.

"To be honest, the most direct way to become a Super Saiyan is to purchase the transformation from the Mall. But with your current number of points, that's not an option."

Krillin sighed. He'd suspected as much. The Mall was powerful, but also expensive—and Super Saiyan was one of the priciest items.

---

"As for other methods," Whis continued, "I'm afraid I don't know all the details."

He paused thoughtfully.

"I've heard of Saiyans achieving transformation through intense emotions, especially rage. That's likely the method Vegeta referred to. But beyond that, I can't guide you."

"I am not a Saiyan myself, after all. I understand transformation on a conceptual level, but the inner process... only a Saiyan can truly feel that."

---

Krillin turned toward Goku. "Hey, Goku—when we're not in the middle of training, could you teach me how to transform?"

He wasn't asking for a full-time teacher. Krillin understood that Goku's training was just as important. It wouldn't be fair to slow him down.

But maybe, during breaks, Goku could help him figure it out.

After all, if anyone could guide him, it was Goku—the first Earth-raised Saiyan to master the transformation.

---

Goku scratched his head, a little embarrassed. "Uhhh… Krillin, I don't really know how to teach it."

"All I did was… get really, really angry."

---

That was true. Goku's initial transformation into a Super Saiyan happened on Planet Namek, during his battle with Frieza, after witnessing the death of Krillin himself.

The sheer emotional trauma had awakened the dormant Saiyan power inside him.

But it wasn't exactly a step-by-step process that he could pass on.

---

Krillin frowned, deep in thought. "Well, maybe I just need the right push..."

He wasn't sure what kind of trigger would work for him. Anger? Desperation? Intense training?

It could be anything.

But one thing was certain: he wouldn't give up.

---

As the three of them prepared to begin their specialized training, Whis clapped his hands together.

---

"Alright! Enough chatting. From today forward, your training begins."

---

Vegeta's eyes narrowed with focus. Goku grinned with excitement. And Krillin? He clenched his fists and took a deep breath.

He might be behind now, but with Saiyan blood flowing through his veins, and training under the best in the universe, he had a chance.

A real chance to rise again.

To fight alongside his friends—not as the human lagging behind, but as a true warrior.

And one day soon… to finally shout those words: "This is Super Saiyan Krillin!"
