Episode 6: “She Ran… But She Returned”

Scene continues inside the hidden underground facility.

Aran sits upright on the bed now, his breathing steady, his body healing but weak. Liya and Shaggy stand nearby, watching him closely.

Silence hangs in the air.

Then suddenly — Aran's eyes widen.

Aran (sharply):"Wait... where's the little girl?"

Shaggy:"Huh?"

Aran (voice firm, eyes serious):"Her name's Keira. I told her to run… I told her not to stop. Is she—"

Before he can finish—

The door slides open.

Keira stands there… small, shaking, but alive. Her face is dirty, her clothes torn, but her eyes are filled with tears.

She looks at Aran — her savior — lying on the bed.

She doesn't say anything.

She just runs forward.

Her little arms wrap around Aran's waist as she buries her face into him, sobbing.

Keira (crying):"I thought… you were gone… they shot you... I ran... but I came back... I couldn't leave you..."

Aran is frozen for a moment. He looks down at her — shocked — then his expression softens.

He places one hand gently on her head.

Aran (quietly):"...You're safe now. You did good. You survived."

Liya watches from behind, stunned.Shaggy's expression melts — she hadn't seen this side of Aran before.

Keira (sniffling):"You said not to stop... but I just… couldn't leave you behind..."

Aran:"...Neither could they."

He glances at Liya and Shaggy with a rare softness in his eyes.

Later that night.

The group sits in a dim-lit planning room. Aran stares at a map of the old city, infection zones marked in red. Keira sleeps nearby under a blanket, clutching her teddy bear.

Aran:"Keira doesn't deserve this world. No kid does. We end this — not for us… for them."

Liya (nodding):"Then we start with the people who did this to you."

Shaggy (loading her weapons):"Let's bring hell to their doorstep."

Final shot:

Keira opens her eyes slowly. She watches them quietly… a small smile forming on her face. For the first time in a long time — she feels safe.
