"It finally increased," Oliver muttered in awe as he looked at the changes in his stats.

This time, his Black Hole had truly reached 2%, giving him a clearer sense of the Spiritual Energy around him.
"Absorb!"
He began trying to absorb the Spiritual Energy.
Unlike on the bus earlier—where his attempt to absorb the energy failed—this time the Spiritual Energy around him truly flowed into his body.
However, cultivation was not as simple as merely absorbing Spiritual Energy. He still needed to integrate it into his body, and that was the hardest part.
After a few minutes, he checked his Spiritual Energy stat.
(Spiritual Energy: 14/200!)
'Only 2 points increased!'
He rolled his eyes at the result.
'It'll never be as fast as using resources like the Heaven Spirit Water,' he thought.
Still, he understood that this was already considered fast.
If he did this for an entire day and night, he might really reach the Second Stage of the Spiritual Master Realm.
'Maybe it's better to focus on cultivating first and reach the Second Stage before going to the Chaotic World. That way I'll be more prepared.'
Oliver wasn't afraid of taking risks, but if there was a better and safer way, he preferred that.
What he needed to do wasn't difficult—just patience.
While absorbing Spiritual Energy, he could still use his mind to comprehend his techniques.
Moreover, he could feel another type of energy entering his body about once every ten minutes—and it always integrated smoothly every time.
That energy was unique and felt incredibly pure, refreshing his mind every time it merged with his body, making him feel like he had just awakened from a perfect nap.
It was Will Energy—far rarer than Spiritual Energy but considered even more important, as it helped advance a Cultivator's Will Realm.
If someone's Will Realm was higher than their Cultivation Realm, their cultivation progress would be faster, thanks to their sharper, faster mind. They could comprehend complex things more easily.
But if their Will Realm didn't progress, their cultivation realm wouldn't either.
Collecting Will Energy was usually very difficult, yet Oliver found it much easier.
Its purity allowed his Black Hole to digest and merge it into his body effortlessly.
'If only the Spiritual Energy I absorb was as pure as this Will Energy, I could level up in no time.'
He lost track of time. His body kept absorbing energy while his mind kept comprehending his techniques, including the Black Hole.
He didn't even dismiss the portal he had summoned—letting it remain in front of him—as he could still learn just by looking at it.
After who-knows-how-long, he noticed the sunlight faintly emerging in the east, signaling morning had come.
(Cultivation: First Stage of Spiritual Master Realm!)

Oliver stopped cultivating and checked his stats—only to find major progress.
He had gathered 73 Will Energy in a single night and more than 100 points of Spiritual Energy.
'Void Body Transformation has reached 2%. That means I can turn both of my hands into void now!'
Oliver was even more surprised when he looked at the technique.
He immediately transformed both of his hands into void.
"What actually happens if I touch something…?"
He wondered.
The theory of void powers was easy enough to grasp, but he hadn't seen them in action before.
Curious, he couldn't resist touching the floor with one finger—and the result was his finger piercing right through it.
When he pulled his finger away, he saw a hole exactly matching its shape.
It was concrete floor—and just a touch created a perfect void-shaped hole.
'It doesn't destroy, it nullifies…'
Oliver could only stare in amazement.
Calling it one of the strongest powers didn't seem to do it justice. It was practically the strongest—because of its nullifying nature. He couldn't think of any other power that could rival the void.
'And now I can finally control the void.'
Void was practically everywhere—hidden behind space in uncountable particles.
With his mind, he could call upon those void particles and gather them in front of him to form whatever he wanted.
He covered his normal hand with void particles, shaping them into black scales.
But if anything touched those scales—it would simply be erased.
The only thing unaffected was his own body.
'I can sense everything inside this house so clearly…'
At first, Oliver had doubted the usefulness of Void Sense. After all, both Cultivators and Awakeners naturally had sharper senses than normal people—and they only got stronger with power.
But Void Sense helped spread his perception through the void—a space that was lighter—allowing his senses to reach farther and feel a much wider area than others at his level.
He then stood and took a step, merging with the void to use Void Step. The result: his body moved as though inside the void.
Since void space was lighter, his movement was much faster there.
With a single step, he reached the door instantly.
If his comprehension increased, it was absolutely possible for him to spread himself as void particles and reassemble somewhere else—a.k.a. teleportation.
In fact, he suspected he could create a clone from void by combining three of his techniques: Void Control, Void Step, and Void Sense.
'Maybe later I can even create new techniques from the ones I already have,' he thought.
'But my Void Domain comprehension still hasn't increased at all…'
It was the hardest, and also the most dangerous.
He could potentially create a miniature version of the void world—scarier than the real thing.
'It seems far too difficult to understand with my current cultivation, even just 1%,' he thought.
Oliver knew because he had tried.
It required not just higher cultivation, but also a stronger Will.
Now that he was standing in front of his door, he opened it.
He wanted to make breakfast for his mom and little sister before continuing his cultivation.
Today, he had set a goal for himself—to reach the Second Stage before nightfall.
