Red Breeze Valley

The sun was setting golden over the hills when Erin and Lilin reached the outskirts of a wide valley. Warm breezes, laden with the scent of damp earth and wild grass, blew from deep within the valley, but they carried something strange: red flashes, as if the breeze itself were on fire.

Lilin paused, staring at the horizon, where the sun's rays reflected off the red dust particles in the air, making the valley appear engulfed in a soft firelight.

"Is this... the Valley of the Red Breeze?" she asked quietly.

Erin nodded, closing his eyes for a moment. The winds here felt different, echoing distant voices, as if they were telling him ancient tales.

As they entered the valley, they noticed the tall rows of stones engraved with ancient wind symbols. Some still shone with faint red lines, as if fire had left a mark on them hundreds of years earlier.

Suddenly, they heard a sharp whistle. They approached cautiously, and a group of men and women wearing light gray robes appeared before them. Their eyes watched them warily, their hands outstretched, summoning the wind in tiny currents that moved around them.

A long-haired, brown-skinned, wind-colored sheikh stepped forward. His deep voice said, "At last, the heir of the wind... and the heir of the fire have arrived in the Land of the Red Breeze."

Eren replied firmly, "We have come to ask for your help... The shadows have fallen, but their ashes still creep, and we need the wind and the fire to protect this world."

The sheikh looked at Leylin and said, "The fire that burns if neglected... but illuminates if directed."

He then pointed to the heart of the valley, where a small lake glowed red in the sunset:

There... lies the secret you two await.

He led them through the narrow, rocky paths until they reached the lake. The breeze blew red and orange from its surface. As Leylin stood near the water, the flame in her hand ignited spontaneously, while the wind around Eren began to slowly swirl.

The sheikh extended his hand toward the lake, saying, "This lake is called 'Tears of the Breeze.' It was created when the first valley in the south burned with the Fire of Shadows. But the wind carried the fire away, bringing it down here, uniting with the breeze and creating a protection for this land."

Eren bent down and extended his hand toward the surface of the water. He felt the wind within him connect with the lake's breeze, as if they were speaking ancient languages. Leylin stepped forward and touched the water with her flaming hand, momentarily illuminating the surface with a bright red.

A thin column of red steam rose from the heart of the lake, flowing toward Eren and Leylin, gently entering their chests. Eren felt the wind within him become purer, while Leylin's flames subsided, but grew warmer and more intense. The sheikh said,

The lake has accepted you... Now you can use the Breath of Fire... an ability that allows you to purify the remaining shadows before they can grow again.

Lylin looked at her hand. The fire in it wasn't blazing furiously as before, but dancing in harmony with the red breeze that swirled around it. Eren felt the winds he was releasing now carry a gentle warmth that prevented any remnants of the shadows from settling.

The sheikh said, smiling for the first time, "The Southern Wind Tribes will be with you. We will guard the roads and villages, and prevent the remnants of the shadows from returning."

That night, Eren and Lelin sat by the lake, the winds carrying tongues of fire over the water, as if watching a new promise being born for the world.

Lylin said, her voice brimming with hope, "With this ability... we will never fear the shadows again."

Eren responded, clasping her hand, "Because now we carry fire and wind... together."

Somewhere far away, the remaining shadows felt this new power emerging, realizing that the earth was beginning to protect itself... that wind and fire were no longer just forces, but a new promise for this world.
