Chapter 2

"Hey! Wake up! You okay?" a voice is trying to wake Serene up. Serene slowly open her eyes "W-Who are you?" Serene asks as she tries to sit up. "I am Rudy. I saw you were laying here injured like you fell or something so i healed you" Rudy says while she helps serene to sit steadily. Serene blinks at her words. Then Serene looks around confusingly because now she is in the middle of the field not in her house "Where am i?..and what did you mean by saying that you healed me?" Serene asks her confusingly.

"Uh..you are in the Magica Valley. And i am a healing witch so i healed you" Rudy replies. Serene's eyes widen at her words.

"W-Witch? What are you talking about? Why i am not in my room now?"

"Uh...what? I am a witch?..why are you so shocked? And how will i know that why you are not in your room?" Rudy replies she dont know how to answer this.

"Why wont i be shocked? Witch doesnt exist"

"What? Obviously witch exist in Lunareth"

Serene pauses at Rudy's words not getting what she just said

"What is Lunareth now?" Serene asks.

"This world's name is Lunareth" Rudy replies like its an obvious answer. Serene then slowly asks "This isnt earth?" Rudy blinks at her words then realization draws in her eyes "You...you are not from this world are you?..Do you even have any powers or anything?" Rudy asks.

"I...I am just a normal human. I..I dont know how i am here..I just found a ball in my gardern. I placed the ball on my nightstand but when i tried to pick it up again-" Rudy cuts in "You ended up in here?" Serene nods.

"Ok...so let me get this straight..you found a portal stone in your human world and you ended up here..Can you understand how much danger you are in?" Rudy says looking at her.

"Yea...i guess so..I dont know" Serene says looking down.

"You know what? Get up and come with me..i'll take you in my school..you can stay there with me..until you find a way to go back to your human world. Or you might die here..tho i cant give you guarantee that you wont die there but atleast i can heal you" Rudy says as she stands up. Serene nods still processing this whole thing.

"Ok..I'll come with you..atleast better than dying alone in here" Serene stands up and starts to walk with Rudy

"Why you live in school?" Serene asks walking besides Rudy. "We all live in school in order to get more powerful and independent" Rudy explains. "Do you miss Your parents a lot?" Serene now looks at her. "No? Why should I?" Rudy asks with a raise eyebrow. "Obviously because you love them" Serene says. But Rudy pause like she heard an unknown word "Love is forbidden in this world" Rudy says walking fast now. Serene pause for a second then she runs to catch up with Rudy "Wait what?" serene says. "Yea its a curse" Rudy replies simply clearly she dont want to talk about this. Serene got the hint as they start to walk in silence.

After a while they reach at the front gate of Rudy's school. Serene's jaw drops after seeing the school. "Close your mouth or the bees will get into your mouth" Rudy says as Serene immediately closes her mouth "I mean you cant blame me this school looks like a whole damn castle". They enter, the hallway is completely empty. "Where are all the students?" Serene asks. "They all are in the dinning hall now. Lets go there i am hungry" Serene nods walking with her. "The hallways are looking like a maze to me. I can get lost easily" Serene comments as they continue to walk.

They reach at the dinning hall. Serene can feel all the eyes on her. All the stares feel like a ghost trying to creep through her veins threatening to consume her.

"You alright?" Rudy asks looking at her. Serene nods but she is panicking inside. They sit on the last chairs. Rudy starts eating, then Serene also starts to eat.

After eating they start to walk out of the dinning hall. While walking Rudy pauses "Oh I forgot...uh Serene can you wait here? I'll just go and arrange a dorm room for you to stay" Serene nods as Rudy walks away.

Serene starts to wait for Rudy. While waiting Serene starts to walk round absentmindedly. Suddenly she bump into someone, before she could even look up the person slams Serene against the wall by her throat "You should look where are you going" the person says in a deep voice. Serene manages to look at the person's eyes. His eyes are dark as void yet theres a hint of fire, a hint of wrath. He squeezes her throat hard as Serene starts to suffocate. "Such a pathetic little thing you are" he says. Then he suddenly releases her throat and walks away. Serene falls into her knees trying to catch her breath.

"Girl your room i-" Rudy was coming to her while saying but she immediately runs to Serene when she sees Serene on the ground. "Girlie? What happened?" Rudy asks while helping Serene to get on her feet. Serene still trying to catch her breath as she shutters "A b-boy was t-trying to choke m-me". Rudy rubs her back trying to calm her down "A boy? You saw him? His face?" Rudy asks in a worried tone. Serene takes a moment to recover then says "I didnt..I just saw his eyes. It was so dark yet there was a hint of...fire I guess" Rudy's face immediately darkens. "What?" Serene asks. "I guess you are talking about Kaelros..he is the demon of wrath" Rudy says quitely.

"Demon of wrath?" Serene's eyes widens in fear. "Yes, demon of wrath..he is known for his ruthlessness. He is one the most ruthless one among the other demons" Rudy says as Serene gulps. "I was almost going to die then" Rudy tries to distract Serene from the fear "Girlie, lets go to the dorm. I'll show you your room" Serene nods slowly walking with Rudy.

They reach at the dorm as Rudy shows Serene her room. The room is small. It just have a dressing table, a bed, a closet, a nightstand besides the bed and a small chair in front of the dressing table. All the furnitures are made of wood and its giving an ancient vibe.

"Do you like it?" Rudy asks looking at Serene. "Yea, its good enough for me" Serene sits on her bed. "Alright then, sleep now. I'll come to wake you up tomorrow. And yea lock your door" Serene nods as Rudy leaves the room. Serene gets up to close the door then she sits on her bed again.

Serene lays down on her bed as she starts to think "Why i even bothered to pick up the ball? Now i am stuck here. I dont know what dad is doing..maybe he is worried. Maybe he is trying to find me" Serene close eyes and drifts off to sleep.
