"Again, Leo! Focus on your stance."
I corrected Leo's position, guiding his small feet wider apart for better balance. We'd been training for almost an hour in the villa's backyard, and despite the cool morning air, sweat trickled down my back.
"Like this?" Leo adjusted his stance, his face scrunched in concentration.
"Perfect! Now remember, your power comes from your core, not just your arms."
I demonstrated the defensive move again, showing him how to block an incoming attack. Leo mimicked my movements, his form improving with each attempt. The kid was a natural, picking up techniques faster than most adults I'd trained with.
"You're getting really good," I praised, ruffling his hair.
Leo beamed at me, his chest puffing with pride. "Can we try that flip move you showed me yesterday?"
"Maybe next week. Let's master the basics first."
