Confrontations and Fated Confessions

I was beyond furious as I sped toward my villa, knuckles white on the steering wheel. Hudson's words replayed in my mind like a broken record.

"They were spotted at The Crystal dining together, looking quite... intimate."

Seraphina and my nephew. Together. The image burned through me like acid. I had specifically warned Tristan to stay away from her, and yet he'd blatantly defied me.

My phone rang, and I barked into it without checking the caller ID. "What?"

"Sir," my assistant's voice came through, "the contract with the Moonlight Pack needs your immediate—"

"Not now." I hung up, tossing the phone onto the passenger seat.

The drive that normally took twenty minutes I completed in twelve. I barely registered the concerned looks from my security team as I stormed through the front door of my home.
