I woke up in unfamiliar surroundings, momentarily confused until memories from the previous night came flooding back. Adrian's car. The passionate encounter. Tristan's assault. And now, this luxurious guest suite in Adrian's villa.

The morning sunlight streamed through the massive windows, bathing the cream-colored room in a soft glow. I stretched beneath the silky sheets, my body pleasantly sore from last night's activities.

"Miss Beaumont? Mr. Valois requests your presence for breakfast in thirty minutes," a female voice called.

"Thank you," I replied, my voice still husky from sleep. "I'll be down shortly."
