Chapter Nineteen : Forever Begins Tonight
The sun shone brilliantly on that special day, as if heaven itself was rejoicing. The church was adorned with white roses, soft golden drapes, and the scent of fresh petals hanging in the air like a delicate promise.
Celine stood by the entrance, radiant in a flowing white gown that sparkled with grace. Her light-brown skin glowed, her hair styled in a sleek ponytail crowned by a shimmering veil. Her heart fluttered—not with fear, but overwhelming joy.
Her father stood beside her, his arm proudly linked with hers. His eyes glistened with tears as he whispered:
"You were once my little girl. Now you walk toward the man who will cherish you forever."
The church doors opened wide.
As the piano played the wedding march, Celine stepped forward, guided by the man who first held her and now gave her away.
Nathan stood at the altar, dressed in a perfectly tailored cream suit, his eyes never leaving hers. In that moment, there were no guests, no flowers, no ceiling—only them, drawn to each other like destiny had always planned.
When her father placed her hand into Nathan's, the emotion in the room was thick.
The vows were exchanged tearfully.
"I promise to love you with all that I am, in weakness and in strength…"
"I vow to be your peace, your partner, and your home…"
And then, the officiating minister smiled.
"By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife."
"You may kiss your bride."
With no hesitation, Nathan cupped her face and kissed her deeply, passionately, before God and man. The audience erupted in applause as their kiss sealed the love story that had weathered time, heartbreak, distance, and healing.

At the reception, the surprises continued.
Nathan's uncle—respected, powerful, and full of pride—stood to make a heartfelt toast. Then, with a smile, he handed Nathan a small box.
Inside was the key to a brand-new SUV.
"Your journey begins with strength. May this carry you through it."
Then, Celine's father rose and approached her with a tearful smile, holding out another small key.
"My daughter, this is not just a car—this is my blessing."
As if that wasn't enough, Nathan's parents stood hand-in-hand before the couple and revealed the final gift of the evening:
"Your first home," Nathan's mother said, "A fully furnished duplex, waiting for you two to fill with laughter and love."
Celine burst into tears. Every wound she had once carried now felt healed by this overflowing love and acceptance. This was everything she had never dared to dream of—and more.
---
That night, as they entered their new home—husband and wife—Nathan swept her off her feet from the doorway.
"Tonight," he whispered, "I make you mine in every way."
He began kissing her right there in the entrance—soft kisses that deepened into something raw and urgent. He carried her straight to the bedroom, never breaking the rhythm of their passion.
Her gown was unzipped gently, his hands worshipping her skin as if memorizing it for eternity. She touched his face, his chest, his back—knowing every inch of him now belonged to her. And she, to him.
When they came together, it wasn't just sex—it was the full expression of years of patience, longing, and respect. Their bodies moved in perfect harmony—flesh to flesh, heart to heart. Every sigh, every moan, every whispered "I love you" was sacred.
They climaxed together, lost in the bliss of connection deeper than words. But even after the intensity, they weren't done.
Hours later, before the first light touched the sky, they made love again—slower this time, wrapped in quiet tenderness.
"I'll love you for the rest of my life," Nathan whispered into her hair.
"And I'll never stop choosing you," Celine replied, her voice shaky with emotion.
They fell asleep tangled in each other's arms, hearts beating in one rhythm, souls finally at rest.
