Ghost Protocol: The Unseen Files

In a modern province teetering between rapid development and ancient mystery, bizarre deaths and unexplainable phenomena plague the shadows. When conventional law enforcement fails to bring justice, a covert unit is formed under the radar of official policy: the Unseen Files Division, a team tasked with solving the supernatural crimes no one else dares to touch.



Leading the team is Mu Shenyu, once a top-tier CID investigator, now demoted to chasing petty thieves after a traumatic case involving ancient cursed swords and a vanished partner. Haunted by his past and literally sensitive to spirits due to his “ghost-born” fate, Mu is reluctantly pulled back into the paranormal when a string of grotesque murders points to an ancient force waking beneath the city’s surface.



Alongside him is the fierce and hot-blooded fighter Nicco Li, a former Sanshou champion with zero patience for red tape—or ghosts. They are joined by a hacker-turned-government slave, a cold sniper with secrets, a clueless but mysterious rookie, and a perverted yet brilliant coroner. Together, they dive into chilling legends brought to life—vengeful female ghosts, cursed iron relics, and zombified monsters masked by folklore.



But not every “monster” is inhuman.

Not every ally is clean.

And not every case will end with closure.
