What You Need to Know
Welcome to a world where survival isn't about experience points — it's about power, mana, and the will to shape your own fate.
This is a guide to help you understand the core systems, rules, and terminology used throughout the story of Auther Finn, a transmigrator with the power to create any skill he can imagine.

The World
This parallel version of Earth is a fantasy-modern hybrid. Cities are walled strongholds, the wilds teem with mana-infused beasts, and Gates and Dungeons — chaotic rifts filled with danger and treasure — dot the landscape.
Though society retains technology, the dominant force is mana — the energy that fuels all life and power.
Many races coexist in this vast world and universe:
Humans
Elves
Vampires
Beastfolk
Dwarves
Dragons
And many more…
Each race follows the same power system, but many have natural advantages such as innate skills, higher mana capacity, racial memory, or physical strength.

The Power System
There are no classes, no levels, and no EXP in this world.
Instead, all beings follow a unified power ranking system based on cultivation, mana integration, and lifeform evolution:
Power Ranks:
Each rank has 9 sub-stages:
F-rank (F1–F9)
E-rank (E1–E9)
D-rank (D1–D9)
C-rank (C1–C9)
B-rank (B1–B9)
A-rank (A1–A9)
S-rank (S1–S9)
SS-rank (SS1–SS9)
SSS (SSS1–SSS9)
EX
King
Emperor
Sage
World
Star
Galaxy
Universe
Chaos
Creation
💡 Advancing a major rank (like from F9 → E1) results in a total evolution:
The user's lifespan, mana capacity, and physical body are all enhanced significantly.
the level of items and skills are the same

Skills and Abilities
Every Awakener gains a unique ability when they awaken.
Most people learn combat or utility skills by:
Inheriting skill books created by stronger Awakeners.
Learning them through intense effort and comprehension.
Discovering them in dungeon or gate treasures.
The system in this world is soulless and unhelpful — it only records basic data such as rank, skills, and mana flow. It doesn't guide, grant rewards, or assist in combat.

Auther Finn's Unique Ability: Skill Creation
Auther can create any kind of skill using Skill Points (SP) he earns from defeating enemies at or above his level. He is the only known person in the world with this ability.
He can create:
Active or passive skills
Racial abilities of other races usable by humans
Transformation skills (e.g., werewolf shift, elemental form)
Summoning, magical, or physical skills
Energy manipulation (e.g., turning mana into lightning, fire, void)
Weapon styles, martial arts, energy systems, and more
He just needs to describe them properly and pay the cost.

Skill Creation Cost System
Rank Base SP Cost Notes
F 10+ SP Simple beginner skills
E 50+ SP Minor advanced skills
D 100+ SP Moderate combat techniques
C 500+ SP High-tier utility or combat
B 1,000+ SP Powerful techniques
A 5,000+ SP Game-changing abilities
S 10,000+ SP World-breaking potential
note
(the cost of the skills in the first few chapters wont be according to this as i added this later)
The cost increases with complexity. A skill that, for example, creates energy from nothing will be much more expensive than a basic sword slash technique — even at the same rank.
---
Skill Point (SP) Gain System
Auther gains SP by killing monsters or enemies of equal or higher rank.
Enemy Relative Level SP Gained
Same level +5 SP
+1 level +7 SP
+2 levels +10 SP
+3 levels +15 SP
+4 or more +20+ SP (scaling steeply)
No SP is gained for defeating weaker enemies.

How Do People Grow Stronger?
There's no EXP system or level-up mechanic.
Instead, growth comes from:
1. Absorbing ambient mana through breathing techniques.
2. Consuming monster mana cores.
3. Mining and using mana crystals from dungeons and gates.
4. Learning better energy cultivation techniques (also ranked).
5. Finding or crafting ranked weapons and armor.
To grow, a person must either create or discover ways to better convert mana into power — and survive battles along the way.
---
Dungeons and Gates
These are rifts that connect to unstable mana spaces full of monsters and treasure.
Every gate or dungeon has a boss that must be defeated to clear it.
The treasure inside is the only known source of naturally formed skills, energy techniques, and items not made by people.
Once cleared, a dungeon collapses, and its rewards vanish.

Final Notes:
Auther begins as completely unknown and weak, with no allies or guides.
Early chapters focus on his solo development — learning to fight, survive, and refine his skill creation method.
Later arcs will introduce allies, enemies, multiple races, romance, and eventually interplanetary exploration.
NOTE:
I added the skill cost system and level later so there may be some inconsistency in the sp count and the skill he bought. please bear with me.
