Min ju x Hae in

The next day after work, she was almost done with the task that was given to her. She already had a great idea, all that's left was for her to turn it into a proposal and submit it for approval. Just as she stretched her hands, her phone rang. It was hae in, she was supposed to meet up with her today after work. She picked up the call and hurriedly put her things in her bag, because hae in would be waiting for her. 

"Hello?, Min ju where are you, am outside your company building, aren't you finished yet?"

"Oh, I am. Am on my way down now"

"Ok" 

Hae in was a young woman in her late twenties. She had beautiful long and curly hair. She was wearing a blouse and a skirt with a long coat over it. As she ended the call, she wasn't looking her way well when she bumped into Ji hyun. All the files she had in her bag fell to the floor and she was so startled, she almost fell, but just as she was about to fall, ji hyun caught her. 

"Are you ok?" Ji hyun asked as he looked into her eyes 

"Uhm, yes, I am"

"Ok, then can you let go?" He said pointing to her grip on his neck

"Oh, sorry about that, I wasn't looking where I was going" Hae in said as she bent down to pick up the files and notes that had fallen from her bag.

"Let me help you" 

"Thank you"

"Oh no, Hae in, what happened. Oh hello team leader" Min ju said as she approached them

"I see, you two know each other?" Ji hyun asked

"Yes, we know each other" Min ju replied

"Ok then, I will leave you two then" Ji hyun said as he handed over the papers he picked and left.

"Hae in, what happened?" 

"I just bumped into him. It's no biggie"

"Are you ok?"

"Yeah. Come on let's go before our reservation gets cancelled. We are already late."

At the restaurant where they had made a reservation, it was cancelled because they got there late. 

"I mean how can they cancel it just like that cause we were late?, that's not fair" hae in said with disappointment written all over her face.

"Let's go to my house, we can have spicy noodles, with cold beer and soju" Min ju said trying to cheer her up.

"But do you have beer at home?"

"No, we can get some when we buy the noodles at a convenience store on our way, what do you say?" 

"Sure, nothing beats spicy noodles and beer, but I get to choose the flavor of the noodles I get"

"Deal" Min ju said smiling 

In Min ju's apartment, Min ju and Hae in sat on pillow cushions waiting for their Ramen to be ready as they sipped on beer. 

"So tell me, what happened yesterday?, you said you had an episode" 

"Yeah, the lights suddenly went off when I was checking the designs with the President "

"You were really lucky you weren't alone" Hae in said with relief evident on her face

"Yeah, I have extraordinary luck, I think the noodles are ready" Min ju said as took her chopsticks and stirred the noodles 

"Yeah they are" she replied looking down. "Min ju, I think you should get treated or atleast try to overcome this trauma you have"

Min ju didn't reply her, this was something Min ju didn't like to talk about since it brought back unpleasant memories. 

"Min ju, I know it's tough on you, I get it. But things are getting worse, your mum isn't even aware of what you are going through. Don't you think you should at least tell her, so that you can try to find a solution" 

"You don't have to worry about me, am really fine"

"You take sleeping pills most of the time before you are able to fall asleep, you have nightmares most nights, you are not fine at all. Why not just listen to me and go see a therapist, you can't keep living like this you know"

"I know, I -"

" If you know then do something about it, you just had to have an episode when you were with the president of your company. You really need to do something about it ok?"

"Yes ma'am" 

"Am not joking" 

"I know, I know, don't worry I will go see a therapist soon"

"Good, so tell me about your president, is he really as handsome as they say he is?"

"Well, I would say he doesn't look too bad"

"So it's true, he's handsome isn't he"

"I don't know"

"You said you walked in his office and saw him without a shirt on, how was he?"

"Hey, stop asking these questions you little pervert"

"Am just curious that's all. Don't tell me you want to keep it all to yourself"

"Oh my, you are very dirty minded, just eat your noodles huh?"

"Whatever sure, just keep it all to yourself" She said as she rolled her eyes

"Oh right, who was the guy you called your team leader earlier?" Hae in asked

"Ah you mean Mr Lee Ji hyun, he is my team leader at work. Why do you ask?"

"Oh nothing, it's just that I held onto his neck and we locked eyes when I bumped into him. He looked so dreamy that I didn't realize I was staring" 

"You have started again, I can't believe how easily you fall for guys" Min ju said shaking her head

"What can I say, I have a thing for good looking guys" Hae in replied as she sipped on a can of beer

"Yeah, and your relationships never lasts more than three months "

"Yes it does" Hae in argued 

"No it doesn't"

"I guess you are right" she said as they both laughed 

After an hour;

"I have to go, it's getting late"

"Yeah sure, be careful" Min ju said as she waved her friend goodbye.

After Hae in left, Min ju thought long and hard about what she had said as she sat in front of her desktop. She agreed that it was time she faced her past in order to overcome her trauma, the thought of it scared her but she was willing to give it a try. She decided to seek out a therapist that would help her. 

At Hae in's apartment, she noticed that someone was moving into the unit next to hers and they had left their belongings outside.

"Why would their stuff arrive before them?" she asked herself as she went inside. Hae in was a sales manager in Hankang department store, she had been working there for three years now. When she heard that Min ju had quit her previous job, she encouraged her to apply for a job at Hankang Marketing and distribution. She was really worried about her friend, that was why she decided to visit a topic they never talked about. She expected Min ju to get mad at her, so she was surprised at how calm she was. She sincerely wanted Min ju to get over her past and move on. They started out as enemies initially when they first met before they eventually became friends. They have been inseparable since then. Hae in decided then and there that she would d

o anything with in power to make sure that Min ju becomes mentally stable.
