Unexpected Twist

The humans who left Earth two thousand years ago are now called god-humans.

But not all of them left. Some remained, wandering the world in search of answers.

Among them is Lux Aeterna, known as the Devil of the Light. She destroys and kills without reason.

Decades and centuries passed until her life began to fade. Fragments of her immense power materialized into crystals. These crystals became the source of power for artifacts, and anyone who encountered her fading body absorbed a portion of her power—granting them extraordinary abilities.

In the Kingdom of Knower, a boy named Anon, who wandered aimlessly while following his desires, caused widespread turmoil with his uncontrollable power. He annihilated those he perceived as enemies—until he entered a state beyond his control. A terrifying child, with thousands of human souls residing inside him, all fighting for dominance over his body.

An armed man riding a flying bike approached King Dan, reporting urgent news from the lower right quadrant of the kingdom—where the Special Gate was located.

"What? They opened it? And my officials were behind it? Why? Don't they trust me anymore? That gate is incomplete! Her containment is unstable! Don't they know... she's the core of System Zero?!"

King Dan was in disbelief. He had assumed they would simply wait and perform their duties—protecting the kingdom and its citizens.

"How dare they… Send a message—lure her here. I know she will fight Anon the moment they meet… because of their connection."

He tapped the messenger's shoulder.

The messenger, flustered and honored, widened his eyes as the king's hand landed on him.

He knelt.

"Yes, Your Majesty! I will go immediately!"

Without hesitation, he sped off on his flying bike, obeying the King's command.

Meanwhile, Anon's condition remained unchanged. His body continued to morph in unpredictable, grotesque forms.

"No one is to touch him until he wakes up!" King Dan warned his Warlord Robots—remote-controlled machines operated by human minds.

"If anyone touches him in that state, their soul will be trapped inside him—and no one will be able to return to their body."

The king muttered in regret,

"I should've let him come here in the first place…"

---

In the officials' meeting hall, located in the lower right sector of the kingdom:

An official—the manager of system operations—stormed into the room, his boots slamming against the floor, his face twisted in fury.

"Who the hell opened that gate?!"

None of the officials responded.

An elderly official finally spoke, his voice quiet.

"We activated it before the King left. We didn't tell him… because he sounded too confident when he went to confront the Entity."

The manager exhaled, suppressing his rage. He knew it was too late to undo what had already begun.

Suddenly, a messenger burst into the room, panting and breathless, relaying the King's latest order.

---

Outside, in the middle of a massive crater, the girl stirred.

Her fingers twitched.

She slowly rose, her hair so long it brushed the ground. When she opened her eyes, they were unnatural—white pupils in deep blue irises.

She stood upright, her shoulders limp, her presence ethereal.

The officials noticed her awakening. Panic spread.

They began planning how to lure her to Anon.

"To lure her, we need something familiar from her past life," one suggested.

The others scrambled to search the archives for anything—artifacts, data, or memories connected to her.

While they worked, the girl leapt out of the crater. She landed silently and stared at the buildings around her, her face expressionless.

Her thoughts were clouded.

She understood nothing.

Except… a desire.

A need to find something.

An object that once belonged to her.

She raised her hand. A white orb of energy formed in her palm. Its light grew blinding—piercing the ground with a speed beyond comprehension.

"Oh no! She's regained her senses! Once that orb strikes the ground, it could endanger the entire planet!"

But they were too late. She had already released it.

The orb sank slowly into the earth… until its light vanished entirely.

This marked the beginning of a dark chapter in human history—an era long ended, yet never forgotten.

These events may seem sudden… but history is not something we can change.

The past is what it is.

No matter what you do now—

It will always remain.
