who was that?

I sat beside Jace nervously.

He looked at me from head to toe and asked in a teasing tone,

"Nothing really happened to you, right?"

I made a sulky face and replied,

"No… seriously, nothing happened to me."

Then I asked,

"How did I get here? Who brought me back?"

Jace looked at me, slightly concerned, and asked,

"You don't remember?"

I shook my head,

"No. If I did, would I be asking you?"

Jace turned off the TV and said,

"I don't know either. All I know is someone brought you home last night—rescued you—and left you with Cloe. I were totally out of it… drunk."

Jace started looking at me with suspicious eyes.

Then, hesitantly, he asked,

"Do you… have a boyfriend?"

I panicked for a second,

"What?! Are you crazy?" I snapped, lightly smacking his arm.

He burst out laughing.

"No, no—I was just asking randomly, that's all."

I replied sharply,

"Other than you four idiots, I've never been with anyone, okay?!"

He laughed again and said,

"Baby, you're seriously too cute."

Annoyed and flustered, I turned and walked away toward my room.

As soon as I entered, my mind drifted back to that guy.

I tried hard to remember his face—anything about him.

But all I could see was a blurry image.

Except for one thing.

Crystal clear.

A rose tattoo inked on his chest.

That image burned into my memory.

I tried to recall more, but the more I focused, the more my head started to hurt.

And just when I thought I couldn't take it anymore—

another headache arrived... in the form of Zim's messages.

Zim*

Hey are you okay ?

Im sorry !

Please forgive me , im really sorry !

After that I look at Nova msg

Nova*

Kael are you okay ? Im sorry for

Living u alone ,im really sorry for

That please forgive me !

But I decide to ignore it and then I went back to sleep

Im just focused on that rose tattoo but alarm rings I woke up and go downstairs Cloe is waiting for me with sweet pancakes I got super happy seeing the pancakes and immediately attacked them like I hadn't eaten in years.

Cloe smiled and asked,

"So... mood's fine now?"

I looked at her with a fake innocent face and said,

"Did something even happen?"

Just then, Jace's voice called out from outside,

"Kael! Aren't you coming to school today, sunshine?"

Without wasting a second, I rushed out, shouting a quick "bye" to Cloe.

I went to school with Jace, and near the lockers, I saw Zim, Nova, and Aven waiting for me.

As soon as I got there, Nova and Zim instantly jumped on me and hugged me tightly from both sides.

While I was being squished to death, Aven chuckled and said,

"Ladies, at least let him breathe."

They finally stepped back, laughing, and the four of us headed off to class together.

Class begins teacher was teaching then she stopes and The teacher said,

"Welcome, Leo Cassano."

And just like that, my heart started racing.

I didn't even know what this feeling was, but it hit me hard.

At the classroom door stood a tall, handsome boy—

dressed in a black t-shirt, black pants, holding books in one hand, and wearing a hat that somehow made him look even more intimidating.

The moment I saw him,

my eyes just… couldn't leave him.

Whispers and gossip started echoing around the class immediately.

Everyone was talking.

The class monitor, Stephen, smirked and said,

"Now it's going to be fun. School life just got interesting."

But I ignored my feelings.

I stood up from my seat without a word and walked out of the classroom.

The whole time, I kept glaring at Leo like he had personally ruined my peace.

Without wasting another second,

I stormed toward the club room.

Right behind me, Zim, Jace, Nova, and Aven followed—

probably just as curious or concerned.

Jace looked at me, raising his brow,

"What happened, baby? Why'd you storm off like that?"

Zim, all curious, turned to Nova and asked,

"Nova… were you just talking about Leo?"

Nova let out a deep sigh and nodded.

Aven started laughing and said,

"Now it's gonna get fun around here."

Annoyed, I snapped,

"Fun? What fun?! You think looking at that guy's face every day is fun?"

"I can't even stand him for a second."

"Now I'll have to see him every damn day."

Just then, Zim placed a comforting hand on my shoulder and said,

"It's okay, baby. We won't give him any attention."

"We'll ignore him like he doesn't even exist."

Jace let out a deep breath and nodded.

And just like always, as evening came, the five of us left the club room and started heading home.

Near the school gate, Leo was standing, as if he was waiting for something.

Just like we had planned, we ignored him completely—walked past like he wasn't even there.

But... I don't know why,

it felt like he wanted to say something to me.

Like there was something in his eyes.

Still, I'm stubborn as hell.

So I didn't stop.

I kept walking and went straight home.

Leo's pov:

After 3 years, I saw all of them again.

And Kael… he was still the same.

Still just as adorable and beautiful.

His eyes… they were still as mesmerizing as ever.

But I don't know why,

he looked at me like I had done something wrong.

Like I had hurt him somehow.

Without saying a word, he walked out of the classroom.

Though it might've seemed like the first time I saw him today…

it wasn't.

I've seen him before.

"Last night, I was assigned to take charge of my uncle's bar."

Before heading to the office, I felt like I had seen Kael.

I turned around—and yes, it was Kael.

The moment I saw him unexpectedly, my heart started racing like crazy.

I stared at him desperately, like I was going to devour him with my eyes.

Those eyes…

Those soft pink lips…

Those delicate hands…

I couldn't look away.

But just then, the manager called me over for something urgent.

Turns out, someone drunk was causing a scene and breaking stuff.

I went and settled the matter, and the moment it was handled,

I ran back out to find Kael again…

But he was gone.

I searched like a madman—

checked the roads, the alleyways—but couldn't find him anywhere.

And then, suddenly,

I saw him…

in an alley… terrified.

Before I could reach him, a van door slammed shut.

Four or five thugs had thrown him inside.

Without thinking, I pulled out my weopen and fired a warning shot in the air—

then aimed at one of their legs and hit him.

I immediately called my manager for backup.

By the time he arrived with the guards, those bastards had already run off.

I rushed to the van.

Kael had fainted by then.

Seeing him like that—so scared, fragile, with his eyelashes wet and a slight bruise on his cheek—

I felt something twist painfully inside me.

I gently lifted him into my arms.

My manager had arrived with the guards.

I told them to track those bastards down no matter what.

And without wasting another second, I took Kael home.

I rang the doorbell.

His sister, Cloe, opened the door.

She looked shocked and worried the moment she saw me holding him.

She began to ask something, but before she could say a word—

I had already turned and walked away.

I don't know why but I wanna meet kael again so I decide to go to school next morning ...

I waited for him on school gate but he ignored me I just wanna ask him how is he but as my luck is bad so I deiced to not to bother him
