Leah is a 22-year-old graduate with a new job as an administrative assistant at Carter & Blake, a respected advertising firm. Confident, kind, and determined, she doesn’t expect much from anyone—until she meets Elijah, a quiet intern whose eyes hide more than his words reveal. He’s younger than her, already in a relationship, and clearly carrying heavy burdens… but none of that stops fate.



After Elijah’s breakup, the two grow closer, and love slowly begins to bloom. But behind their connection is a harsh truth: Elijah, despite being the nephew of the company’s CEO, is constantly overlooked and pressured by family expectations. His cousin, lazy and entitled, receives all the praise he silently works for. Broke, buried in school problems, and silently drowning in financial and emotional struggles, Elijah begins to feel like a man who has nothing to offer.



Though Leah never complains—never even hesitates to support him—Elijah can't bear the imbalance. So, he breaks her heart the only way he knows how: by making her believe he never loved her. Leah, shattered and heartbroken, begs for him to stay. But nothing changes. They go their separate ways.
